“Paris visit”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2013

Not our first choice and would not other staying here again.
Room was quite small with awful gaudy blue silk wallpaper. Bed was comfy but pillows very hard with no other choice.
Bathroom. It was almost impossible to get into the bath so if you are of a bulky frame, don't even try as Im sure that this building was constructed around the bath not the other way round.
No shower curtain and water splashes all over the place. I'd hate to think where it's going downstairs. With the wide choice of modern cleaning solutions there is no excuse other than lazy housemaids for bathroom tiles to be mouldy as these were.

Overall not our choice of hotel but might suit less fussy and more budget concious types.

Room Tip: Try somewhere else as there are better value hotels available

I stayed at the hotel for a week for the second time. Except for the really small room - which smart furniture make it less uncomfortable - this hotel has all that it takes for a very nice stay in Paris. It is super well-located, close to all restaurants and entertainment of the Quartier Latin, within short walk distance to the Seine, the Louvre and the fancy stores of Bd Saint Germain and the Dorsay. Staff is super friendly and breakfast is delicious. And if you are there on business, it is one block away from the subway station. Ask for a higher floor for a partial view of the Eiffel tower from your window. It can get a little noisy early at night as it is surrounded by cafes, the internet is free, but does not work at all, especially after 6pm, but, still, this is a little hotel with a friendly and cozy atmosphere you'd love to stay at.

Room Tip: Ask for upper floor for a partial view of Eiffel tower.

We had an unexpected diversion to Paris due to airline and train strikes, so at the last minute we booked this hotel initially for one night. When we arrived we required two nights due to the strike situation. It was no problem. The staff on the front desk were very helpful.
The breakfast was nothing to write home about, but at only €12 good value.
I was impressed by the amount of tourist information available at the front desk, including the most helpful Michelin green and red guides.
The room was larger than I expected and the toiletries were L'Octainne, a great surprise.
I would not hesitate to return

Booked this last minute for me and my partner as we had cocked up on dates staying in a friends apartment so needed a room for the night.

Really nice little hotel, our room had a view of St Sepulcre and the Eiffel Tower over the rooftops as we were at the top. The lift was very cosy, as we found in most small Paris hotels and apartments.

The room was small but functional, as was the bathroom, bath with shower over. Would be happy to stay here again.

Stayed in may. Took the basic room and it was just that. Small everything but we knew this from reviews so was not a problem. friends had more expensive room and that was adequate. We were overall happy with this hotel. generally friendly helpful staff.

I booked here for a couple of days and was very impressed with the location. The hotel was friendly and clean, although the room was very small and a little bit dated. Served its purpose though and i guess the price is fair given the location. I wouldn't rush back as would probably rather spend a bit more on somewhere slightly more special. Saying that though I wouldn't avoid it either. Didn't try the breakfast as you had to pay extra for it - just went to local cafes instead.

One of the best places to stay in Paris, near Jardin de Luxembourg and Rue de Buci, places that I love! wonderful gastronomy nearby, and the hotel offer quiet rooms, professional people to serve and nice amenities also. The beds are wonderful and the bathrooms also. Of course I will be back there. The only problem: there is no frigobar inside the room
