“Next to Metro cafe”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2013

From the outside , indifferent small street but inside the rooms were great - looks newly renovated - NO CARPETS, GREAT - and clean. Not the usual 'charming' small Parisian hotels which is code for nice area but old and tiny.
Best to use Metro as only few steps from Oberkampf metro. Lots of restaurants and small supermarkets nearby. Breakfast is 12 F - average for Paris but you can get one for 7-8 Fin the cafes.

50 steps from Oberkampf metro station, 40 from a bistrot which serves until midnight. Quadruple room, quiet and clean, bathroom with bath, shower and hair dryer, breakfast honest. The family owner is friendly and attentive. And still has a "winter garden" open in Spring and Summer times. excellent cost-benefit ratio for those not looking for luxury. Make your reservation in advance.

Room Tip: Second floor rooms are the best.

... for a city trip to Paris: good location - important sights can be reached on foot or from the nearby metro station, friendly and helpful staff, fashionable design, rooms small but clean, nice bathroom, perfect cosy beds, quiet rooms with nice view onto the enchanting hotel courtyard with trees, bushes and cosy corners to sit and relax, nice bar round the corner next to the metro (Cafe Metro). I'd go to that hotel again without hesitating!

Room Tip: Be careful to find that part of Rue de Malte, the hotel is very close to the Metro Cafe!

It is really a good location with all the best things to do in Paris within 30 minutes. Hotel has just been renovated, the rooms are small, but very well fitted and the bathroom is very nice(the plumbing works, which is not always the case in Paris!). Bfst is good, not special, but good. Last but certainly not the least:
The garden is really nice, you must have at least one bfst in the garden and just relax and enjoy!

Was there by myself for a business trip. Stayed 4 nights. Perfect hotel for a Paris city trip.
As everywhere in Paris, the rooms are small. But the hotel is new and everything clean.
Perfect as a couple or solo.

The location of the hotel is very useful. It's very easy to reach any part of the sightseeing places of Paris, some of them within walking distance. We was there for three days in July 2013. Rooms are brand new, nice designed. You'll love to have breakfast in the garden.

The recently renovated hotel was a pleasure! We enjoyed breakfast in the gardens each morning. The location is handy to the metro. Lots of typical Paris sidewalk cafes are very close. The rooms were typically small as is the way in Paris, but they were clean comfortable and secure.
