This is a great small hotel in the Le Marais section of Paris. The owners Didier and Marc are extremely friendly and helpful... Didier prepares breakfast every morning and asks how your previous day was and gives you tips for the day ahead. Didier gave us an excellent restaurant recommendation to Monjul which we never would have found on our own but was absolutely delicious. The rooms are not fancy but they are comfortable and relaxed... no AC but we were happy to find a ceiling fan which really cooled the room down. The best part is the value; we paid 125EUR per night which is an excellent value in a city as expensive as Paris. Only complaint was that the hotel was a bit off the beaten path; you really have to walk at least 15 minutes to be truly in the heart of Le Marais and near most of the restaurants. But on the plus side it was very quiet and there were a couple of metro stops that were accessible. Overall a great experience and value at Hotel du Haut Marais.
