This is a small museum, only two rooms, run by a Frenchman who doesn't speak English and seemed annoyed by dealing with anyone who doesn't speak French. It was a bit of a challenge to locate and access the museum. There were two codes - to get in the front door and once inside, the access to the apartment. I understood most of his directions in French but had to have my hotel call for me to make sure I had the correct instructions. Once there, you can see some of Edith Piaf's possessions and most notably, many letters she wrote. The curator has a lot of interest and knowledge of her life, and he met her when he was young. However, my French wasn't strong enough to take full advantage of his experience. I did buy a CD and a collector level boo of her life which are nice souvenirs to have.
