“Great shrimp pasta!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 7, 2013

Pros:
1. good food (pate de campagne, shrimp pasta) with one exception: the Cordon Bleu - frozen and fried, not prepared on the spot
2. friendly atmosphere on the first floor
3. fair price (10, 16 and 24 euro menus)
4. decent service, rather fast
5. location - Latin Quarter

Cons:
1. awful rose wine (better choose red wine instead), not worth 5 euro/glass
2. a single toilet for the entire restaurant

Ask for a carafe of water if you don't want to spend a lot of money on bottled water!

“BIG NO! Ok food, Service way below standard”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2013 via mobile

On our last day in paris my family and I decided to take an evening stroll in the latin quarters. Here the waitors waved in tourists from the streets and really fought over us. They all had the same menu (sort of); 10?, 16? and 24? menues, including starters, a main course and dessert.

We were really hungry so we entered a small restaurant in the middle of it all. The four of us were seated next to the kitchen where the "chef" used the micro wave instead of the real oven to heat old/cold food to serve to the customers.
We tried to escape but the waitor insisted on seating us somewhere else and he moved us upstairs, next to a window. Pretty nice! Then we got to order and after about 10 minutes we got the wine and our starters, me myself had snails which were quite nice. However all along our meal when dishes were brought up, he made us reach out for them and served us pretty sloppy!
40 minutes after we had finished our starters the waitor brought along our main dishes. Coq a vin - OK but nothing special.
Dessert never came and when we realized that we had waited for more than half an hour after we had finished I went downstairs to see what was going on and there the two waitors were, eating and laughing with a friend of theirs. They allowed me to make an order and the creme bruele were cold when we got it. And soon afterwards he began to put up the chairs on the tables. This was it. We finished fast to make it in time to the closing of the metro and told them that this was under all kinds of standards!

The worst dinner during our stay!
Eat somewhere else and save the money! Preferably not in tourist places.
Other (more local) places that we visited were a lot better!

We were in the middle of our trip from Sant-Shapel to Pantheon and couldn't imagined about the best place for the launche.
Everything was delishes, starts from "Les Raclettes" and finishing with deserts.
And most impotent: 10&16? menu was best value for the money. We stay at the second floor. The atmosfer was nice, wormy and realy quaet compearing to the Latin Quater?!
The sevrice was fast and pleasent.

“Tasty French food at a reasonable price: If you have enough time !!!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2013

We were looking for traditional French food for lunch and decided to give a try when we saw the menu outside. Not too many choices, but all looked french.
Escargots and various salads are good starters. Main dish servings are small, however, at a reasonable price. The food is tasty. Fondue is well worth a try and the serving is more than enough for one person. But be careful! The service is extremely slow, since there is only one nice man serving all the tables in the upper floor. He is very helpful and friendly.
The upper floor makes you feel the traditional cosy french atmosphere.
