“Lost glory”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2013 via mobile

There's nothing there. It is lined with expensive stores and restaurants, and the waiters chase "skirts" and the store clerks are rude, rude, rude. You also feel abused from people walking into you. Parisians can't walk in a straight line, and they do not walk around others. They leave you feeling bullied. Visit the Arch of Triumph, and then get the heck out of there.

“Very posh area!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2013

If you want to know where the fashion is in Paris, this area is the place to be! So many expensive shops and restaurants for you to enjoy or even just window shop. I like taking a stroll here at night, it's very relaxing and quiet. Stop in a cafe for coffee while you people watch!

An amazing place, full of the hustle and bustle of Paris life. Nice to walk around in the rain! A must see.

“Nothing special during winter”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 16, 2013

Basically, the Champs is just a large boulevard with a lot of trees and some parks surrounding it. Wouldn't call it anything special, because we were there during winter time. I guess it is quite beautiful during spring or summer. But in February, it was damp and lifeless. And yet, it still is a good place to find some shops and stuff like that. And, obviously, The best way to reach Arc de Triomphe from the Louvre (or the other way around).

“A day out.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 15, 2013

Champs Elysees is becoming rather 'tacky' with some 'orrrible fast food outlets. However, there are still a couple of good restaurants around thankfully. For a light tea, coffee or a glass of wine try the Renault showroom. Haven't been there for 40 years and it's still fun!
