A nice little hotel, probably not worth the price, but it's located just the opposite of Dupleix metro station, which allows you quick and easy transport. There are many nice small restaurants around, even a chocolaterie on Boulevard de Grenelle!
There was some construction work going on near the hotel, but I was anyway not using the room during the day, so that could be a problem only for people who sleep in late.
Although the hotel advertises as having a view on the Eiffel tower, it can only be seen from the window if you lean forward and look to the right.
In the morning breakfast includes exacly one cup of coffee or tea, with milk, one croissant, one bagel, one little jam, and a glass of orange juice. My advice is to take 7eur and spend it on a croissant and a cup of coffee in one of the coffee shops around.
There is only a wireless connection available for the guests, so be prepared for not having a cable option available.
The room was clean, although the whole hotel could use a renovation. English is definitely not top class when speaking to staff, but they are very helpful.
The thing I found the most annoying is that the hotel's front door was locked during the night, so if you plan on going out for the night, be sure to ask at the front desk if they have a policy regarding the time when you should be back.
All in all, it's a nice place to stay, especially if you will be sightseeing a lot and need just a place to sleep in a safe and very pleasant neighborhood.

The hotel is very small. The rooms are really disgusting. When we got to the hotel, there was hair and pieces of garbage on the floor. We placed a piece of plastic on the floor to see if thy vacumed it and it was there for the whole week we were there. All they did was give us 2 towels and make the beds. The beds were like cardboard. When i was in the shower there is not much room and it feels like you are in a box. The hotel personnel was very rude and snotty. the breakfeast was probably the only good part. Dont let the pictures fool you. Make sure you look at other hotels before you choose this one.

Stayed here over the New Year's Holiday. It's not the best hotel, but it is so close to everything! Just know what you are getting into before you book here. I read all the comments and went prepared. Yes, it is a very small hotel, the bathroom is tiny and the shower stall is even smaller and the bathroom floors aren't cleaned very well. I brought shower shoes with meas well as bleach wipes and and a disinfectant spray and scrubbed everything down to my liking. I would recommend bringing your own sheets as well. They weren't dirty, just old and tattered with cigarette burns in them...lol. Yes, you shouldn't have to do this when you go stay at a hotel, but for the price and its location you just cant beat it. You are a five minute walk to the Eiffel tower, 15 minutes from Les Invalides, maybe another 15 from the Champs D'elysee. The first 3 days I was there I didnt need to use the train at all! I didn't like having to leave my room key everytime I left out, but nothing turned up missing, so I guess it's okay.

I don't know what other reviewers mean by "it was too noisey". I stayed there Friday through Thursday in a room that overlooked the hotel entrance and the 6 train and did not have any noise issues. Maybe because I am used to New York sound levels, but I really did find it quite peaceful in the mornings and night.
I wouldnt recommend paying for the breakfast that the hotel provides, because you have so many food shops and brasseries so close to the hotel. There is also a Monoprix supermarket about 2 blocks down the street that we found very useful for food, alcohol and other items.

Overall, if you are going to Paris to be a true tourist, this is a good deal. You're going to spend 90% of your day out sight seeing. Its close to all and the metro is right in front of this hotel. Just come prepared. If you are looking for a hotel where you can stay in bed all day and that provides all the luxuries, this isn't the hotel for you.

OH! and the elevator is tiny so don't bring a whole lot of luggage..lol!

This hotel is rundown and very, very old despite it's advertising that it was recently renovated. The bathroom is especially disgusting and wasn't cleaned very well. The shower is tiny. My husband is 6'4" and could barely move in the shower. I didn't even want to walk in bare feet in the bathroom or the room. To top it all off, it was very noisy and difficult to sleep. Additionally, the man who is at the desk at night is not always there so it was hard to retrieve our key.
We had booked 4 nights and cut our stay short by 2 nights to move to a better hotel. Besides the location, there was nothing pleasant about our experience.

Stayed in this Hotel for the 1st week of January 2007, needed a hotel at the last minute and walked into this one, Very cheap price at €75 per night per room (excellent considering the Macure next door wanted €270 per night).

We had room 404 (ask for this room as it’s large, You have a view of the Eiffel Tower from your window, and it’s on the top floor so you cant hear street noise.

Hotel is in perfect location, about a 10 min walk from the Eiffel Tower, It is across the street from the metro station, market on some days across the street and there are a lot of nice shops and restaurants in the area.

The room was large, compared to other rooms we have stayed at in Paris (although when walking passed other rooms in the hotel, they looked quiet small – this is why I’d also ask for 404). Room was spotless, bathroom was spotless, Staff where very polite and spoke perfect English, Someone is at the desk 24 hours a day.

Would stay here again and plan to in July.
