Hotel is a 15 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower, where you can also pick up lots of tour buses which can take you all over Paris. Short walk to restaurants, bakeshops, groceries, seafood mini markets. Our first morning I woke up to the sound of a farmers market right across the street. I guess they have one every Wednesday, we were surprised to find lots of yummy hot French food, fruits, seafood, bread, pastries, clothes, bags, etc. Hotel is 5 minute walk to the Metro station. I loved the staff..Ginette at the front desk was very friendly, kept saying Oh-la-la and very helpful, as was the young gentleman who took care of the night shift , Achilles (dont know if spelling is correct). Our room had a view of the top of the Eiffel. One of the light bulbs in our room was out and we called Achilles and he came to change the light bulb right away. Bathroom was small but okay. We asked for soap and towels and we got them right away. Liked the fresh croissants, bread, coffee and orange juice for breakfast. The servers were also very friendly!
