This is my first time to France, Paris and we decided to stay in the Hotel Daunou Opera because of the excellent comments made by tourists who have stayed here.

We stayed there for 6 nights and the room we had was very spacious (As compared to smaller hotels in Europe). The receptionist speaks generally good English so we have no problem communicating. They have most of the brouchers available for the "must-see" in Paris and they also offered tickets to Disneyland. Maps are also easily available at the reception. They are also very helpful in assisting you.

Winter time is really quiet for Paris and most of the queue lines are generally shorter. Weather fluctuate randomly but were usually negative degree. Safety is always a concern for tourists so please watch out with each other.

The Hotel is 10mins walk away from the popular shopping center, Galeries Lafayette and Printemps Shopping mall. It is also 20mins walk from the Lourve, 5mins away from the Opera and Place Vendome.

Nearest Metro station would be Opera and RER A (Auber) to Disneyland for a 45mins ride. Please purchase the metro ticket at the airport for a carnet of 10 tickets at 12.70Euro

Ideal hotel for travellers who would like to be close to the city and the shopping mall. The buffet breakfast is fantastic. Our first meal of the day would always end up eating alot. It's 18Euro per person.

We visited Paris after spending several days in Normandy. Normandy being so quiet and Paris being so busy however Hotel Daunou is a very peaceful and relaxing spot to stay in beautiful Paris. We could not find one fault with the hotel or staff and when we return to France we will not hesitate on booking the Hotel Daunou again. As previous reviews state the hotel is situated in the ideal spot in Paris to cover just about everything. The breakfast was 1st class so pay for this option when you make your booking. Travelling from airport I would recommend taking the bus to Opera - and going back Hotel Daunou will book you a mini bus at a very reasonable cost. Cannot wait to return. Eleanor and Gordon Scotland

The hotel is located near opera metro station so moving around is very easy. The room is clean and nicely furnished. The staffs are also very friendly. Will definitely stay here again when I am back in Paris.

We were looking for a nice small hotel in the city center.
This hotel located next to the Opera, offering 3 metro lines. There are also many restaurants and bars in the hotel street and the streets next to it.
We walked from the hotel to the Louvre, Galeries Lafayette, the Concorde and Tuileries gardens, all very close.
We didn't take the breakfast at the hotel ( they asked for 18 Euro for it...), but there are many cafe's and bakeries close by.
