“Great location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 16, 2013

We have spent 5 days and the location is great . Easy access to metro very convenient to everything you must visit everything early or it is chaos . Nice staff friendly and if have any issues sorted quickly. Supermarket cross the road but go up the stairs for wine and beers.6days is enough in Paris

Room Tip: We had room 428 triple room nice view book early although tea and coffee facilities would have been...

Had a wonderful 3 day stay in Paris and would definitely recommend the Albe Hotel to others.

Whilst the room was on the small side, it was very clean, tastefully decorated and had wonderful acoustic double-glazed windows that kept out the noise at night. The air conditioning unit was brilliant and the shower was fantastic too. Moreover, the staff were extremely helpful and spoke good English (should you not wish to test out your mediocre french!). Couldn't fault the hotel at all.

The location is fantastic and very close to Notre Dame, Louvre, Musee d'Orsay and the Metro. Extremely convenient!

Loved Paris and the hotel.

A perfect location for proximity to transit. You have access to both the metro and RER trains. And just outside your door anything you want to eat, bistro's, street food, pastaria's, and for those craving a bit of the USA and cheap breakfast, even a McDonalds just down the street, where 6€ will buy you breakfast for two.

The hotel staff was excellent, At the front desk they all spoke English, were extremely helpful with tips on train routes, where to eat and overall tips for navigating the area. The room was clean, and comfortable with plenty of storage for Europe standards, and I have to say down on the busy hectic latin quarter, the streets are bustling all night long, open your windows and you're right there with all the sounds wafting up into your room. close them and you don't hear a thing. Not sure what type of insulation they have in that hotel, but it's amazingly quiet for all the noise that's right under your room.

I would recommend the hotel. We didn't do the breakfast, our choice as there were so many choices right outside your door.

Great location, 5 mins walk to notre dame cathedral, walk to the louvre and other attractions. Cafes etc 1 minute walk. Room clean, adequate breakfast, exceptionally friendly staff especially Veronique. Recommend. Would definitely stay there again

The room was very small. It was all beds by the time we got a family of 3 in there. However if you are there to see Paris and not the hotel, the Albe is fine. There is nothing really to complain about if you are not looking for luxury and it is within walking distance of many attractions and very close to good restaurants and places to go out both night and day without being too noisy that you can't sleep

Room Tip: Check the size to make sure it is big enough for your needs, space seems to be at a huge premium in...

Spent 3 nights here mid August. While the rooms were very small, the location was perfect. The Latin Quarter came alive every night and there were so many restaurants/cafes to choose from. Also great proximity to Notre Dame, Louvre and the metro. We were able to walk to Eiffel Tower but it was a distance. We were a family of 4 which could not be accommodated in one room. So we put the 2 kids (teenagers) in their own room and my husband and in another. It actually worked out better this way :) The staff was courteous, in a French sort of way (sorry, I'm American!). Would definitely stay again.

Room Tip: We had no trouble with street noise on the 4th floor.

Best hotel to stay in as it is within walking distance of all the sights you go to Paris to see. Rooms are all updated now. Choose a room with a balcony as sitting there in the evening with a glass of wine there is always some street entertainment going on below. Breakfast delicious. Hotel doesn't look posh but it is great and clean and the staff are lovely. Good choice if you want to see the Tour de France but book early, in fact , as soon as you know the date which usually is the third Sunday in July.
Underground car park is just round the corner if you drive to Paris.

Room Tip: Corner balcony room.
