“How much for a Travelodge Style Room”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2012

I guess that Paris was full, because €450pn was ludicrous. For that I expected luxury. I've had better for £50 in a Travelodge.

I did not expect:

• Stains on the carpet!
• Cigarette burns on the curtains of this no smoking hotel!
• Nothing in the minibar fridge!

Staff were pleasant. Prices were off the scale - after the €450 for the room, I couldn't bear to throw more of my companies money at the them for ludicrously priced food and drink. The menu, nevertheless looked somewhat limited and uninspiring.

Looking at the other reviews, I'm maybe being harsh...a bit like the room rate I got.

Room Tip: Book early?!

Yes, hotel is not in the city center. However the area of Bercy is very pleasant, and in the end you have the metro just around the corner. The hotel itself is very very good! Great rooms, nice beds, very clean and good facilities. Excellent value for the money you pay (within the parisien market).

We visited for a second time in August. Once again the staff were amazing - so helpful. Breakfast was beautiful and the room very spacious and quiet with a view of the river. We were given a late checkout which was very much appreciated.
The metro is an easy walk and although you are a few kilometers from the centre of Paris it is only a few quick stops away. We would definitely stay here if we were in Paris again.

I have spent two nights in the hotel

The not so good:
- room can be facing the office towers.... and see the workers starting their day

The good:
- the service! Wow very impressive. From the checkin to checkout, the staff is fantastic: polite, friendly, helpfull.
- good size room. Compared to my previous stay in the Mercure, i can't touch the two sides by extending my arms
- kind of stylish room. Not over the top, but nice.
- bathroom size and quality mini shower gel
- location is convenient. The metro ligne 14 brings you in the center of Paris in no time (10mins).
The hotel is located in cour St Emilion area with nice shops and good restaurants (frog pub is serving good beers)
- Breakfast was good and packed with local french products (yummy)
- Free Internet

I will consider this hotel for my next stays in Paris

I selected Pullman Bercy as our hotel choice in Paris after surveying the many reviews on Tripadvisor and am glad to have stayed here! Pullman Bercy is slightly located a little out of Paris center but is well served by the Metro nearby which took us to all the famed attractions and shopping districts in no time! The Metro was extremely convenient to use and easy to navigate around as well. There is a very lovely Bercy Village just 2 mins walk from the hotel that houses several restaurants and shops which makes dining extremely convenient . There is also a supermarket there so you can get some snacks or drinks if you wish as well. Breakfast was delightful with a good spread of cold cuts, pastries, breads, cereal, eggs, sausages and bacon too! There was also a good selection of beverages which was nice. It did feel a little repetitive as I stayed for 5 nights but breakfast was still more than adequate. The hotel room was pretty spacious for 3 adults and the main bed was comfortable. The standalone bed (or sofa rather) for 1 was a tad bit uncomfortable though especially for a 5 nights stay. The bathroom was rather spacious as well but looks a little dated. Nonetheless, I had a pretty good stay and consider the Pullman Bercy hotel as good value!

This hotel was a wonderful surprise having booked it online with only reviews and Google as guidance.
My mother and I stayed here for 6 nights, and were blown away by the kindness of the staff and their willingness to go above and beyond to help make our trip that much better. Being only English speakers, the language issue was a concern, but turned out to be a non-issue here. Both the front desk employees, and restaurant staff spoke flawless English.

The room was spotless, and all the bathroom essentials were provided (hairdryer, shower cap, robes, slippers, soap, etc). Our room on the third floor overlooked one of the hotel's many outside patios, and was very quiet. We never heard our neighbors or any of Paris' famed street noise. The beds were very comfortable, and pillows were perfect combo of firm/soft.

Free wifi was an added bonus, and the lobby (where the signal was the strongest for me) was beautiful with the mod decor, plants, and water feature.

As far as location, this hotel was about 2 blocks to a metro station, and a bus stop was right around the corner. It was about a 20 min metro ride to the Eiffel Tower, but the metro was very easy to navigate and kept you out of daunting and often gridlocked Paris traffic.
Being located in Bercy Village was beyond awesome. There are numerous local shops and reasonable priced local restaurants within a few blocks of the hotel. You could find anything from dessert to hamburgers and pub food, to classic french cuisine, Italian, and much more. Several places offered breakfast and opened around 7am.

The breakfast at the hotel exceeded our expectations. Fresh squeezed juices (the orange was the best I've had in a long time), delicious pastries, crepes, fruit , eggs, sausage, french bacon, and a wide variety of cereals and meats. Both me and my mother looked forward to it.

All in all if I am ever back in Paris I'll stay here again. The location, being slightly out of the central tourist area was a huge asset and not an inconvenience at all.

The hotel is a bit outside the city. if you need to stay in Bercy it is a great choice. Very clean, modern, nice rooms. A large lobby area, a bar thats open till late at night. Considering it is in paris the rooms are not noisy. Staff is friendly and everything works. The Gym is a bit disappointing Ground floor and small. better go ona run along the Seine or in the park nearby.
