It took me more than 2 weeks to find what I think would be the best hotel in Paris without knowing the area and I am so glad I chose the Bradford Elysees Hotel! We did not speak French but the lady at the reception was so nice that she assisted us and talked to us in English.
ROOM: The room was very spacious and the bed was so comfortable it felt like I did not leave home. They have a hair dryer in the room so you don't need to bring yours, they also have a safe that does not cost anything. They cleaned the room everyday and left us a note on what the weather is like the following day, left it with chocolates (yum) and a note reminding us about breakfast. The hotel also has a free Wi-Fi service so I was able to upload my photos online once our day was done.
HOTEL DINING: They have a complimentary station at the dining area next to the reception where they have orange juice and other juices, really good cookies, coffee, tea, etc. until 10 pm so it's nice because you can always have tea/juice before you head out or snack before you go to bed. Our breakfast is included in the trip we booked at europeandestination.com so we did not have to pay anything. Get the plan with breakfast on it and you will not regret it (this also saves time since you can just have breakfast there before you venture out). They have scrambled eggs with cheese, sausages, different types of cured meat, cheese, fruits, yogurt, etc. They even have somebody there to bring you your coffee/tea when you first come in to the breakfast area.
STAFF: As far as the staff, TEJ was amazing! He usually mans the breakfast/snack area and he was so friendly the whole time we were there. We were so comfortable with him that we even asked him about some street smarts, how much cabs usually cost, where's the closest restaurants, etc. instead of the reception. The Hotel's reception is also extremely helpful and friendly, I just did not remember all of their names so I'm sorry I can't name all of them in here but they were amazing! We asked for a cab to arrive at 7:30 am for our flight and they have the cab ready just on time.
LOCATION: The location is great! It is right at Champs-Elysees and walking distance to the Arc de Triomphe. Since you are at Champs-Elysees there are various shopping areas and restaurants! The food in the restaurants close by were amazing! I don't remember the name of the restaurants but it's close to the hotel near a street call La Boetie. You are close to the George V Metro where you can take the metro to the Eiffel Tower, Louvre, etc. If you are unsure where to go and what Metro to take, just ask the information area in the metro. Most of them speak a little English if you don't know how to speak French just tell them where you want to go (E.g. Eiffel Tower) and they will circle it in the map. Buy the all day pass if you are going to multiple locations it is worth it (This is about 12 Euros for 2 people).
Overall, we love the location, the hotel and the staff and will go back to this hotel again on our next trip to Paris!
