“Good hotel for a decent rate”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2013

The room is quite small but comfortable. The bathroom leaves more to be desired, but for a 3 * hotel, is quite good. All the amenities are in place (hair drier, kettle, free instant coffee & tea). The pillow seem to be a little bit uncomfortable (quite small, I had to use 2). The breakfast is good, including hot dishes (scrambled eggs and bacon).

This hotel is on the corner in a non tourist area. Despite this there was a Metro on the other corner of the road which was very convenient and there was little noise to disturb us even though we were on the first floor. Very helpful staff and on the reception desk was a badge stating the name of the person on duty and the languages spoken by that person. (Everyone we came across spoke good english.) The beds were made up with duvets but we were supplied with blankets when we explained that we do not like them. Our room was quite small but there was enough room for all we needed. Breakfast was a buffet in the basement which was of good quality and with both hot and cold choices which was constantly replenished.

We had a triple room and whilst a bit tight for three women we managed well. The room was clean, comfortable and very quiet.
The desk staff were very helpful and cheerful.
Breakfast was brilliant and we found we didn't even need a lunch after loading up on carbs!!
The metro is opposite the hotel so it's perfect for getting to all the major attractions. although we chose to walk most of the time.

We researched thoroughly to find an ideal hotel and this one didn't disappoint! It was central - we walked a lot to the main sightseeing areas - but was opposite the metro (line 12) for coming home or when our legs couldn't go any more! (Wasn't noisy, though). The metro on line 6 was only 5 mins walk. The hotel was clean and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. Our room was available early on arrival and we were able to leave luggage for the day before our flight home. The breakfasts were yummy with a big choice and the half price deal for booking them in advance was very good value, as was the price for our 3 night stay generally. We liked having tea-making facilities in the (triple) room, there were 2 hairdryers, a decent shower, clean towels when you needed them and the beds were comfy. What more can I say? - all in all, I couldn't fault and would definitely stay there again. NB we used the Air France coach to Montparnasse (10-15 min walk) for our transfer from Orly - found that convenient - 18-20 euros return. The sweets at reception were also welcome!

The accommodation is clean and location is helpful with metro being at your door step. However don't expect any assistance from the staff. I am an extensive traveller and the staff in this place would have to be one of the rudest I have come across. They demand you leave your key at reception when leaving but it isn't uncommon to have to wait on your return to get your key as reception is unattended. Staff ignore the do not disturb sign with housekeeping waking me up twice with knocking at my door. I locked my keys in my room and had to argue with staff to get access. I strongly recommend shopping around before booking at this hotel.
