“Wonderful Stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2013

After reviewing the comments, we decide to book Hotel Ares and stay there in Sept. No disappointment at all. We have a very pleasant experience from the time we walk in till check out. Needless to repeat how good they are. The only recommendation is to put up a full size mirror next to the door of the guest room. Lastly, we've a special thanks to Isabella and all other staffs. Will defnitely stay there again!

Room Tip: Room 63 - classic room (higher floor with a better view)

Recently spent 6 nights in executive room, which was as good if not better than I had expected. The size of the room was great, plenty of room to move around. The friendliness of the staff was outstanding, felt very welcomed. The best thing for us was location, 5 minute walk to access 3 different metro lines, Eiffel Tower 10 minute walk, plenty of great eating spots near by. Highly recommend this hotel

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights from October 9th to the 13th (2013). Couldn't ask for better service, location or amenities. We were greeted by Julianne who provided BY FAR the best customer service experience of any hotel stay we've had (and we've traveled extensively). She is THE reason to stay here - absolutely helpful in every way, perfectly bilingual and just about the kindest person you'll meet.

The area, Grenelle -15th arrondissement, is awesome. If you're like us and you don't want to stay in super-touristy areas and just want to live amongst everyday Parisians then you'll love this area, which is full of cafes, shops and good bakeries and everyday essentials.

Our room (#71) was spacious and comfortable with its queen bed and great washroom. We loved opening the window and letting the cool (and unpolluted) Paris area keep us comfortable during the evenings. The hotel is off on a side-street in a residential area so if you're a light sleeper it's the perfect spot.

The only negative was no coffee maker - but there's a Starbucks around the corner. (literally a 3 minute walk). Awesome stay, great staff and comfortable room - what more would you want? Stay here.

Room Tip: Cab drivers have problems finding the street it's located on. Just give them the street name, t...

We had a great time staying here - really good location, easy taxis to Eiffel Tower, Louvre, etc. all the good stuff. The staff were really helpful and polite, with generally good english speaking. We definitely want to stay here again!

Room Tip: The breakfast isn't such great value - best to get out early and eat at any of the good places n...

Chose this based off a former co-worker review. This place was in a good location, and the staff were so friendly. (I left my phone there and did not realize it until we left. They have mailed it back to me!) Upon entering or leaving, whomever was working at the desk was friendly and glad to see us. The room was a little small, and coffee service inside would have been an added plus. But I LOVED the windows, being able to open them up and let the cool Paris air in, was amazing. A short walk brought us to the Eiffel Tower and the river. The park nearby was great for just sitting in the sun and watching the world go by. Many eateries/bars/patisseries near by. A safe neighborhood to walk in night or day, and we loved sitting at outdoor cafes for a glass of wine. (Firmin is a great place just a short walk away.) I will definitely stay there again, I miss our walks along the Siene. Stay here if you want to be close to the Eiffel Tower, the staff will take great care of you.

The Ares Eiffel was an excellent choice for our Paris girls trip. Every member of the staff was nice, accommodating and very patient. The room was extremely comfortable and the location was superb. Close to the metro and minutes from the Eiffel Tower. Neighborhood was quiet enough to sleep in late and we felt safe walking the area at night. Would definitely recommend and would not hesitate to stay here again, next time. C'est ce bon!
