This hotel was 3 blocks away from the metro station, safe neighborhood....the breakfast lady is mean and doesn't even let you take sugar to your room...but you get over that....small hotel but it's europe...it was fantastic and very clean...no complains whatsoever...except that the staff could be friendlier....

This horrible hotel is more expensive than other very nice hotels.
It is far from the metro station and still, it is more expensive than hotels in the same area that are closer to the metro stations.
Evrything inside looks cheap and uncomfortable. It looks like a social housing. The lift is frightening and dirty. Our room was very small and had a glass in front of the bed, like in these hotels were you bring prostitutes!
Not a romantic place at all :(

Situated about 5-10 mins walk from either Alesia or Plaisance metro stations, and from there about 10-20 mins into central Paris. On the opposite side of town to Charles de Gaulle airport, which was about an hour away (although a fairly direct route on the 'B' line).

The hotel reception area was a little shabby with a tiny lift, which could be awkward for those with lots of luggage, children's pushchairs etc. Staff seemed more inclined to help if spoken to in French.

My single room was small but clean and had been refurbished in the last year or two. There was no tea/coffee making facilities in the room (but there's a vending machine in reception); there was a minibar fridge with limited soft drinks & useful for keeping your own drinks in. The TV had a good quality picture but no English/cable channels except CNN news. No hairdryer in the room but there was a spare electric socket - handy if you take your own mini-kettle too (with adaptor, of course!). No safe in the room. The shower head was cracked and water spurted everywhere - but was otherwise fine with good temperature.

The rooms are supposedly sound-proofed but the doors can't be - noise from other guests in the corridors could be a problem for light sleepers (take those ear plugs). Shame really, because the hotel is actually in a pretty quiet location - I kept the window open all night and traffic noise wasn't a problem.

Overall, a good basic no-frills hotel.

We had a nice time at the hotel. The rooms are clean and quite spacious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Moreover, the hotel is very well situated with easy access to the heart of Paris. We were there on holidays and would highlyt reccommend this hotel. Very good price for quality!!! We plan to return there for our next stop to Paris
