We stayed here for one night in September 2008. We booked it through booking.com and it was the same rate as the hotel website.
Room:
We booked the cheapest double room (Classic) so it's no surprise that the room is small. It measures about 10' x 10' with not much space to move around. The bathroom is big, compared to the rest of the room. It has a shower stall, no bath tub. Our double bed is really just a full-size bed, but it was okay for just 1 night. There is an in-room safe.
I was concerned about street noise, but we were pleased to find our room facing an inner courtyard, so it was very quiet. Like other 3+ Paris hotels we've stayed at, the walls are thin.
Breakfast:
Breakfast is €8 per person, which I find a bargain compared to other Paris hotels. It is not a buffet breakfast, but we got a large bread basket, coffee, and 2 choices of cereal. There are several kinds of jam and cheese.
Location:
A great location for our purpose. It is located between Gare Montparnasse (SNCF station) and Montparnasse-Bienvenue (metro line 4); and just a few minutes' walk to either one. The hotel is also across the street from Tour Montparnasse. There are also many bus lines that stop at Montparnasse which I find more enjoyable than taking the Metro.
Bottom Line:
A decent hotel at a good location. However, if you are staying for more than 1 night, I think it is worthwhile to spend more for a bigger room than the one we got.
