“Comfortable stay...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 4, 2012

A very comfortable hotel with nice rooms and beautiful lobby. The size of the rooms is a bit small, but the location of the hotel makes this a great place for business travelers to the city.

Overall a decent place to experience Paris.

It's our second time at this hotel. I booked the executive room via the Accor website. Check in went smoothly and fast. We were upgraded to the suite. Yeah..... Room 702 has a great view. You can even see the Eiffel Tower. Subway is close by which has a direct link from the Gare du Nord train station. It's about 5 minutes walk to the hotel. Very busy road in front of the hotel, but well isolated windows.
I would definitively recommend this hotel if you want a reasonably priced 4 star hotel in Paris and you don't mind staying a bit off centre.

Another tip.
If you take the hop-on-hop-off bus for 2days you don't need to buy the Paris Visite card as well. Just buy a booklet of 10 cards. They only cost you € 12,70. During the day time you use the hop-on-hop-off bus to see all the tourist attractions and at night you'll use the one way subway/tram/bus cards...

Toilet is seperate from the shower area?!
You can just drink espresso in the lobby, no other coffee !?
Breakfast is too much expensive (17 euro)
Clean but uncomfortable room
Windows are locked, no fresh air in the room! Just airconditioner....

The hotel is located close to the metro station. It is easy to take in all the important sights of Paris. The rooms are quiet but the bathroom and the toilet bowl are apart. We stayed four nights in the hotel and after comfortable sleep it was easy to go out sightseeing. There are many good restaurants and shops in the neighbourhood. We didn´t use the services of the hotel, because we don´t speak French.

Clean comfortable and pleasant 9 storey hotel in a good location but nothing special. Double rooms are OK but not particularly spacious. Minibar and flat screen tv with basic furniture. Bed was very comfortable. Soap, shampoo and showergel was provided fresh every day but the shower was not very powerful. Toilet is seperate from shower. Orange wifi internet is free and fairly easy to connect to. No gymn or swimming pool is available. Tea / coffee and kettle in room. Good breakfast but ate out every night because not really much atmosphere in the restaurant. It's OK for short buisiness trips but I was here for a whole week.

Room Tip: Avoid the first floor as its too close to reception lobby and mezzanine restaurant / breakfast room.

Booked this hotel after hours of searching for a family friendly hotel to accommodate 2 adults and 1 child in one room. Booked via Expedia instead of directly with Accor and this was due to a price difference as a consequence of Accor's conversion rate.
Lobby area was smaller than in the pictures, request for an early check-in was denied so we just walked around the area (not much to see) even though we were exhausted after a long flight.
Room size with 1 queen bed and a sofa bed was big compared to the usual cramped Parisian hotel rooms. Management either does not read or care about feedback from customers so I am afraid I have to complain about the same things. The sewage smell from the sink was noticeable, the coffee/tea/sugar/milk supplies were meager and irregularly replaced, the separate toilet which had floorboards (not tiles) was not cleaned well. When we complained about lack of the coffee and sugar, we were given a run around and connected to staff who did not speak even basic English. So yes, I appreciate that there is a kettle, but it is useless without coffee or tea. Instructions for free wifi were not very clear which should be be an alert for staff to improve their set of instructions, instead when people ask for clarifications, the reception staff respond in an irritated manner (as if to say, 'How stupid are these people!').
Reception staff were business-like and not at all friendly or approachable. Our booking did not include breakfast so we cannot comment on their restaurant facility.

Pros: Other than the room size and fast wifi, there is a safe, a modern TV with lots of non-English channels, a supermarket (Carrefour) and a few restaurants nearby, as well as a 10 minute brisk walk to the Metro subway (end of a line) and a tram.
Location is not central and is in a very busy highway.
Additional Cons: Beds were hard; towels almost threadbare; disposable plastic cups in the bathroom and thin paper coffee cups.

Will probably consider another hotel on our next trip to Paris.

Room Tip: Higher floors not facing the highway.
