A lovely hotel - typically Parisienne! A narrow hotel in a narrow street - do not expect large pallatial suites. The rooms make good use of a small space. They are well appointed and clean. An ideal base, conveniently situated for the guided tour buses. I would highly recommend it - especially for romantic couples. Wifi was provided, and worked well.

This hotel is in a great location. however that is where the positives mostly end. Our room was shabby, although to be fair the bathroom was quite good. What really let it down was the fact that it was built around the stair case. It had only one window which was on the otherside of the staircase to the bed and the bathroom. This meant that you needed lights at all times apart from when you put them off to sleep. The view from the window was of the central court of the hotel, sadly it was all dilapidated and one could quite easily have been looking at the Bakaraa Market in Mogudishu.

The carpet was smelly, we kept our slippers on as much as we could.
We didn't eat at the Hotel as breakfast didn't come as part of the room cost and at 36 euros for 3 of us didn't seem worth paying for. Actually the room wasn't worth it at 150 euros a night either.

I would stay in this Hotel again and I certainly wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Avoid it if you can.

It was supposed to be a trip of a life time but the attitude and poor service of the staff at this Hotel made it seem like the trip that took a life time. The room was minimally cleaned, the wifi worked only 50% of the time and the staff had a " not care" attitude. And they really don't care about the tourist. Example? one bar of soap provided for 6 days, staff could not tell me how to use their phone system and when i asked for a business card to write a phone number down the desk staff said they cost to much for that. He proceeded to tell me how much a hotel business card cost to produce. I would have given him the web site that advertises 1000 business cards for $25 but the wifi was down AGAIN :(.
The elevator is very small and breakfast was not worth 12 E a day.
There was one guy at the desk that was WONDERFUL i am sorry i did not get his name. I am also sorry that he had to go home because the service was so bad that the tourist could not wait until he came in again.

I wouldvery very appreciative if you stop and read. i stayed in the hotel from 2/12 to 4/12 and it seemd like an eternity. Please note:

I do understand that this is 3* and we did not expect anything in terms of decoration or modernity. But it terms of expected standard package cleanliness i would like to comment: 1) Doors, lamps and most of the surfaces were covered with thick layer of dust, sticky and fluffy 2) next to the bed, there was a tissue with god knows what - when i asked at the desk to clean the room properly, no action was taken 3) staff at reception was very rude, dismissive and not helpful at all. No eye contact on arrival, talking on the phone on personal matters, no acknowledgement or action on the cleanliness complaint. Please if you could spare extra 50-100 euros do not stay EVER! I have learnt my lesson for good!
