“Nice and cosy hotel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 week ago

Its a small hotel. Room given to me was rather small & cramp. Bed was comfortable and clean Bed sheets and pillows. Though it's a small room, it was nicely designed.

But Bath room was a small cubicle. Can hardly sit properly in the toilet bowl as the wall was just only inches away. Not much for leg room space even for a small size Asian man. Had to sit in an awkward position to allow leg space.

Breakfast was satisfactory. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful which safe the hotel for my harsher comment.

Location wise is not too bad.

Will I come back again? Unlikely if there is a better hotel offering the same price.

2 rooms in October half term break. Twin for the kids was more spacious than our double but we were sightseeing and not living in the room. Very clean hotel throughout. No restaurant but there is room service - we assumed from the restaurant next door although we didn't try it. We also didn't eat breakfast as it seemed overpriced and the reviews said it was poor. We paid just about the same at a cafe nearby but did get beautifully cooked omelettes and the freshest croissants there so that seemed a better option. On the day we had an early start to Versailles we bought food in the nearby Monoprix and ate on train - incredibly cheap. The hotel has great staff who all speak English and are very helpful. Metro is very close. Hotel also runs a "free bar" service from 1pm to 9pm everyday. They set out soft drinks, juices, cakes, crisps, pastries etc plus a kettle and facilities to make tea and coffee and you just help yourself in the dining area. We used it on the day we left for drinks and snacks before heading for the airport and had no trouble even though we had officially checked out by that time. Would recommend this hotel and those who complain of small rooms and overpricing and lack of air conditioning need to remember this is Paris and that's what you get!

Room Tip: If you want more space go for the twin rooms rather than the double.

My daughter and I stayed here in late November and were pleasantly surprised after being warned how hotel rooms in Paris can be so small. The room was very adequate and clean and the bathroom was also of a decent size. The price was relatively reasonable for Paris or any major city. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The location was good, within walking distance to the Champs d'Elysee and also to the Louvre though a more substantial walk. Very close to high end shopping on the Rue Royale. Quiet small street not far from larger busier street so it's not isolated but not noisy. Food (pastries, fruit, cheese, juices, tea, etc.) available in lounge all day, very fresh and good, until 9 pm. Wi-fi available but no business center so had to use their front desk computer to print out boarding passes. Overall a very nice experience and pretty good value.

Chose this hotel for a business trip as it is close to our Paris office and was the only hotel able to accommodate all of us at the same time. Value for money is not great during the week but I decided to extend into the weekend and paid half the weekday rate on the Friday and Saturday.
There's not a lot going on close to the hotel food/drink/sight-seeing-wise, but you can walk to Montmarte within half an hour and Hotel de Ville is an hour's walk away along the Seine, to give you some context.
Hotel is quite small and traditional. Nothing too fancy. Breakfast was included - it's decent but not amazing. The room was an ok size and I had a view out onto the street from the 2 floor to ceiling length windows.
Nothing exceptional but cannot think of a reason not to recommend this place. Would try somewhere different on my next trip to Paris though.

I got deceived by the number of positive feedback on this hotel, well if you are planing to book a single room there just don't , unless u want to sleep on a kid's size bed and open the window to see a wall!! ,

The staff were all great and friendly though , they changed the room for me for a street view but still it was really really small, nothing like the pics I have seen.

The location is great too , 2 minutes walk to line 9 and 12 min to a big station called at Lazard.

I loved the friendly staff who were very helpful and punctual, they tried their best to help me out.

So unless you are a couple and u don't mind really small rooms and space it might be a good hotel, yet value for money no , I guess this hotel is way over priced and to be honest , the room has nothing to do with the hotel.

If it wasn't for the staff of the hotel and the very high occupancy rate at this time in paris because of SIAL and other expos, I would have definitely left after the first night.

Not recommended and I wouldn't stay there again.

Very nice hotel for a great price, it is a short walk to many museums and the opera house. Staff was very friendly and it has easy access to the subway. I definitely recommend this hotel to other travelers.

We are a young couple travelling around Europe for a month. We stayed 4 days at the hotel. The location is great if you want to walk around and get to know Paris by foot. It is also close to several metro stations. The personnel is nice and helpful. The rooms are small but clean and comfortable. Breakfast is very good, full of choices, specially their cheese. We had a great experience there, we recommend it very much!!
