We spent an excellent weekend in March in the Claridge Bellman in Paris. As I know of numerous business trips to Paris many hotels in this city Claridge Bellman is outstanding! - really a class of its own. The rooms are designed and decorated in a very personal style with french antiquities. Located perfectly just 5 minutes from the Champs Elysées its a very quite, noble resort for tourists with high class expectations. The personal and the service is to emphasize. At every moment we (a couple of 42 and 35) had the feeling beeing warmly welcomed and at home. We loved the breakfast of international standard. This was not our last trip to Claridge Bellman. We´ll come back in summer!!!

My wife and I stayed at this marvelous hotel in January to celebrate my birthday. The Claridge Bellman is located near the Arc d'Triumph, just far enough off the Champs in a beautiful neighborhood with wonderful window shopping, brasseries and restaurants. The happiness expressed by everyone who worked there was just the beginning of our enjoyable stay.

The rooms are all decorated differently. Ours was a symphony in yellows, fresh smelling and clean. The hotel was not quite full that night so they actually showed us several rooms to choose from. The staff at the front desk made us feel so comfortable our entire stay. They actually helped us make dinner reservations as well as train reservations, constantly concerned only about our well being. What more could you ask for.

The Lobby was richly decorated, our breakfast was great and I will never have to look any further for a hotel in Paris again.

I travelled to Paris last minute for a spot of shopping over the weekend. We had booked into the Claridge Bellman for both Friday and Saturday evening through lastminute. Unfortunately, on arrival at about 10pm on Friday, they had overbooked,and there were no rooms available.

We were put into another hotel two streets away, and asked to return the following day. The other hotel was also lovely, so no problems there.

On arrival at the Claridge Bellman, we were shown to a premier suite, and a bottle of champagne was put on ice for us that evening free of charge. The staff were very apologetic, and although we were not very annoyed by the situation, they really went out of their way to make our stay fabulous.

The hotel is situated about 2 minutes walk from the Champs D'elysee, a great place to be! There are a few good pubs and clubs around there (be willing to spend a bit of cash if you want drinks), open until all hours of the night. There is no noise, the hotel room was completely silent, which was perfect!

The area is great for up market shops, and the hotel is surrounded by beautiful boutiques, again, not for the cheap deals!

I really would recommend this hotel. Staff, food, service, location, all perfect! it is also a two minute walk from a metro - great!

We have just returned from Paris, having stayed at the Claridge Bellman.
LOCATION - Excellent, right alongside the Champs, on a street with many lovely restaurants.
STAFF - Charming, hospitable and friendly.
ROOMS - Now this is where the hotel lets itself down.
Avoid the sixth floor at all costs, unless you and your partner are no taller than 5' 0 and not wider than an english size 8. Although very clean, my definition wouldn't be 'Classic' & 'Charming' as many guide books would let you believe. We had paid for an upgraded room, but upon arrival the majority of the Superior rooms were being re-decorated (good job), so we ended up having to pay another upgrade for a junior suite, which in all fairness was superb. My advise would be, to avoid disappointment & confusion upon check in, research your room before booking, and know exactly what you are getting for your 'Upgrade'. The rooms differ greatly, our Junior suite, albeit superb, wasn't a touch on my parents superior (and 60 euros a night cheaper) room???
One more word of advice, Enter room 64 at your peril!!!!
