“Good Cost Benefit Ratio 4 Paris”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2013

The rooms were small but clean. Although the bathroom was small, it was nice to have a tube in it. The staff were helpful and cheerful. The hotel had an open buffet breakfast (9,50 €) and this quality for this price is quite good in Paris. The hotel has an indoor swimming pool, sauna, jakuzi and Turkish bath (but it's a Finnish bath not Turkish) for 5€ between 4pm-9pm. The hotel is located in avenue de Clichy (5 minutes walk to Porte De Clichy Metro and RER station) The environment is not like 16th arrondisment of course but price/quality (95€) ratio is quite good. For my next trip to Paris, I can stay in this hotel.

Room Tip: My room was 681 and it was looking to construction next to hotel. I think the rooms from x00 to x50...

Great for business trips. Good breakfast although they charge extra for it - as they do to use the gym and pool facilities - which are open from 16.00-21.00 hours. I would stay here again, primarily because it is close to the metro and is in a reasonable area.

Room Tip: Great for business trips - close to the Metro

I travel often to paris and this is a good choice when the room rate is not too hight.
The hotel is huge, close to the underground entrance. Rooms are simple but not bad at all. Very good cleaning service. The breakfast is a bit poor and you could wait queuing at the reception desk, finally not a bad experience anyhow

I know it is Ibis. It always has small room size but this one is extremely tiny. Bathroom is just like in the eighties. The hotel is extremely busy just like Asian wet market. I can see so many lift cars are available. If you want extra service, you better stay away from this hotel. They sell their rooms fast and do not need customers with extra service. The breakfast restaurant is just another chaos. I hardly get seats when I patronized. So you must grab it as soon as people leave and clean your table yourself if you want to grab quick breakfast albeit it is acceptable quality wise!.

Staff were very helpful and polite! We would advise you ask the staff if you need directions or help getting to a location ie Eiffel Tower or Disney land! Nice big comfy double bed for an excellent sleep as well.

The hotel staff (3 separate people) told me and my party the breakfast was included. Upon checking out they charged us for the breakfasts including breakfasts that were not eaten and even charged 2 breakfasts per day for a sole occupancy room!
With trying to resolve the issue they have not returned the money and have taken more funds from the account without consent.

This is disgusting service from what should be a Global corporate establishment and I would not recommend this to anyone who rates service highly.

Oh and, the pool is NOT included and the rooms are REALLY small....

I am not normally negative, but because they have caused this issue I don't rate the establishment at all

Room Tip: if you do stay here, check your bill, pay ONLY once they've sorted any issues and pay cash

Remember, you're choosing a budget hotel. However, if all you need is a clean room and comfy bed you're in luck. The room was perfect for those simple needs.

The hotel is right next to the Port de Clichy metro stop and the RER C train making getting around convenient, even if the hotel is a little far away from the center of Paris. The entrance IS confusing - if you're walking from the train stop head down Port de Clichy Avenue until you hit Impasse Chalabre on your right and head down that street. You should see a ramp on the right that leads to the entrance.

When they cleaned the rooms it wasn't sparkling, but still well done. I didn't have any problems with things being stolen in or around the hotel - just be sensible and dont leave anything out in plain sight.

Although construction is still going on next door it never woke me up during my 4 nights in a 5th floor room facing it. The soundproofing isn't perfect - I could lightly hear the pipes from the adjacent room's bathroom from mine - but lying in bed it's barely audible.

The staff was very helpful and spoke English - they helped us print out tickets we bought online and answered all our questions.

Overall a great value for a Paris hotel if not quite perfect.
