My friend and I stayed at this hotel from June 12 to June 19, 2009. We booked an air/hotel package with Air Transat, and this is the hotel we ended up with. We emailed in advance to request that our room have two beds, and they were very helpful and booked that for us right away.
Room
The room was very small, but we expected it to be such. Our room had two single beds, pushed together, with some sort of divider that hid our heads from each other. The bed was comfortable, pillows were comfortable, however, we weren't provided with a sheet to go underneath the comforter. The comforter was really quite warm, and the air-conditioning was basically just cool-ish air blowing in, but didn't really do much. Most nights we slept with the window open as well, but were still warm. However, I do believe that Paris was unseasonably warm while we were there (26-27 C). The water pressure in the shower was great, tubs are really hard to get in and out of so if you have a disability that would inhibit you from climbing up into a tub or down out of it, I would not recommend this hotel.
Location
Perfect location right by the metro stop Bercy (3 mins from hotel). We are two girls, and never felt unsafe, even when coming out of the metro at 1 am - great neighbourhood. Some little cafes around the hotel, but Bercy Village is close-by, about a 10 minute walk, and they had some great restaurants.
Staff
Great, very friendly and helpful, always willing to answer questions and help us find where we wanted to go. No complaints there. Although we slept in twice, past 10, and the housekeepers kept knocking on the door - no DO NOT DISTURB signs were provided.
Breakfast
Was included. Ham, Cheese, Croissants, cereal, pain au chocolat, yogurt, fruit, coffee, fresh squeezed orange juice - all great. Much better spread than the continental breakfast we had expected. On the weekends I believe they had eggs and sausage in the second dining room, but we never chose that option.
Bonus
There was a computer in the lobby with free internet access - perfect for sending a quick arrival email home, but beware - many people spend hours at a time. Prime time seemed to be after breakfast.
Also, there was a restaurant but we never ate there. Selection for dinner was limited.
