“Worth Considering”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 13, 2013

We really enjoyed our stay here. Check in was efficent and friendly. I was impressed that they had shopping trundlers and umbrellas available for the use of guests. Our room was well set up and equpped with a good range of kitchen equipment. There was a fishy smell in the kitchen for the first day or so The last guest must have been careless. The bed was very comfortable. The apartments are located very close to several supermarkets so it was easy to self cater. It is also close to the Trocadero metro stop and the Eiffel Tower. Laundry services available. What we liked most was the coffee machine in the lobby - being able to make coffee when you wanted a cup was a real winner!

Good location. Helpful check in. Room types not as requested nor as confirmed. People stay in apartments to satisfy room type requirements not for luxury. People also don't appreciate being misled. Apartments were clean and functional, but for the price of a good small hotel which would have offered more facilities and certainly more charm, Citadines at Trocadero disappointed.

The location of this hotel was fantastic, just a short walk down the street to Trocadero and a great view of The Eiffel Tower. Easy access to the Metro and restaurants made this Hotel very well placed. The Hotel offers a self-service laundry although the drier was not very effective. The rooms were large with plenty of room and separate bedding for our two children. The kitchen proved useful for us, as we opted not to eat breakfast there (due to cost not quality), but to take advantage of the supermarket around the corner and make our own.
The beds were comfortable, the room temperature was just right and the elevator made short work of hauling our luggage up to our room.
The reception staff were friendly and always helpful. The TV also had an English langauge sub-title option.
My only negative point was that the toilet smelled terrible. Not sure what cleaning product they use, but it was dreadful. You could also hear the people on the floor above, who had children running around and dragging a chair across the floor- not too bad though. I would recommend this hotel.

Booked this hotel online for a stay in Septmber 2012. I wasn't too sure what it would be like and wasn't expecting the best.
However we were very pleasantly surprised. It was modern, clean and the hotel was in a very good position - half way between the Eiffel Tower and Arch de Triomphe.
The room was a good size and had cooking facilities although we didn't use them.
Coffee was free all day in the lobby which was good when using the free internet.
I would definitely stay there again.

Stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment in Sept. The toilet in the apartment was truly the worst ever. Think of the smelliest toilet on a long haul flight. The problem was that the smell came from the internal pipes, so no amount of external cleaning would help.

The apartment came with a kitchen. When we opened the cupboard that stored the crockery, several insects flew out.

Other than the above:
- location was nice.
- Had good restaurants nearby.
- Short walk to Trocadro and Eiffel Tower.
- Rooms clean although floor was not entirely clean.
- near 2 metro stations, although not all major lines pass through these stations so we had to switch 3 lines coming back from Madeleine station. Not fun as the platforms for each line are far apart within each station and lots of stairs.
- near Supermarkets: Leader Price across the street (smallish store), Casino (huge store) 2mins to the left as you exit the hotel, Carrefore City (smallish) down Boissiere.
- front desk service was ok. Nothing to shout about.
- has own launderette. Euro 5 for wash and Euro 4 for dryer.

on our first trip to Paris, this choice fits all our needs. we had two studio rooms, for 4 persons, and we got all we needed. We had the chance to cook in our rooms, have breakfast, wash our clothes on the self laundry service, everything was fine.
The location near the Trocadero Metro Station is very convenient also. and the most amazing thing: a few steps from the Eiffel Tower.
we hope to be back soon!

We (two adults, one 8 years daughter) booked a one bedroom apt for three nights.
Space and arrangement were OK

Location near Trocadero is very good

BUT different issues which would have made this stay tough id it was bot for three days only :
- moisture on the bathroom ceiling
- very old and dirty carpet
- bad smell in the room (it was on the same leve as the Trash location)

If you need to stay for a "long" stay better I think to look for for a furnished apartement from specialized sites
