“Much more individual and competent hotel than I expected. Recommended”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2012

I have to go to Paris with work a few times a year and keep trying new hotels. This is the first one I would ask to be booked into again. Nice modern design and layout on arrival in reception. Sensible, pleasant staff, welcome absence of rather detached arrogant refrain I have found in a few other hotels in this city.

My room was fine, not big but with a nice layout with large windows looking out into the open courtyard. Larger rooms facing outwards look very good, perhaps I'll be lucky next time. Location is also excellent.

Overall I would recommend as a good value option with some degree of design integrity, in the heart of the city.

“Hardly 3 stars”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 11, 2012

It is hardly a 3 stars hotel. In a double room there were only one soap, one shower gel, one shampoo etc. and they didn't change them when they cleaned the room. The minibar was empty. If you ask for a wi-fi code later in the evening, they don't have any. A great location though.

“In the heart of Paris”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 14, 2012 via mobile

Wow.... What can I say.
We stayed there the week of April 23
First the location is excellent, close to places to eat including resturants, bakery is on the same corner and we ate there every breakfast and dinner. The hotel is in walking distance for all types of walkers to the Eiffel tower 12 minutes. It is 5 minutes from the metro that can take you anywhere.
Off topic we had no issue with any aspect of the metro and loved to take it. Compared to other cities Paris is in the top percent have seen much worse.
As for the hotel from the moment we entered to the day we left we were greeted by someone at the door usually in English, until they knew we were fluent in French. The desk staff at all times of the day were amazing. We had some issue and they were willing to bend over backwards to help us. If we made request for stuff we needed in the room, Wife waled too much at louvre and needed some ice, they never said no and bend over backward to accommodate us.
As for the hotel itself. The hotel was amazing. We loved the look of the lobby and our delux room. The room itself was bigger then most of the places we have stayed in USA/Canada. We loved having the free coffee in the lobby. It was not just standard brew but amazing with like 10 different choices of strength.
This was our first trip to Paris and we are Already planning for our next trip there Ina few years and will try to stay here again.

“Great location and spacious room”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 10, 2012

Stayed for one night in this hotel after a few days at Disneyland. Location is excellent, only a couple of minutes walk from Trocadero. We arrived at 11am to ask if we could leave our bags until check in time, but they already had our room ready so we checked in. The room was an excellent size, especially for a city. Large bed, Bang and Olufsen TV and CD player (no ipod dock), electric curtains and L'Occitane toiletries - lovely. The bathroom had double sliding doors to the bath and sinks and a small cubicle with toilet and bidet. The room was very clean and had a lovely thick carpet - nice for tired feet. There was flakey paint on the bathroom ceiling and some of the marble tiles were becoming a bit discoloured but nothing that detracted from the comfort of the room. The room was very quiet as we had a view over a courtyard.
We didn't eat breakfast in the hotel, instead opting for the boulangerie nearby.
Found the staff mostly polite and helpful, when checking in the receptionist was a little abrupt with us, but on check out they were very helpful with our bags and even posted my postcards for me as I couldn't buy stamps for them on a Sunday. Would definitely stay again if we visit Paris

“Disappointing”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 30, 2012

Stayed in this hotel 4 nights and was happy with location. The room itself was okay, apart from the shower that leaked every time out onto the main bathroom floor and was annoying to clean up. The staff we found a little short and looked at you as though you were stupid when you asked about anything. Also found it very unprofessional one of the female staff doing another female staff hair behind the desk. The Manager John also was disrespectful, when we came back from an outing and greeting us by saying Hello Australia. We are by no means serious people, but it was the way he said it, in a condescending manner and in front of two female staff. We will not be back at this hotel purely because of the staff.

Room Tip: We stayed in an junior suite and was happy cause of size.

We thank you for your comments that always allow us to improve ourselves.
We are truly sorry to hear about your unpleasant experience. Our front desk staff is actually being progressively changed in order to make sure that we can offer our guests the best possible service; which is the service we tried to offer you by answering your different requests regarding restaurants and tourist attractions of the city.
The hotel is about to go under a complete renovation with a remodeling of our bathroom and the installation of kitchen in most of our rooms.
We hope that you will give us the opportunity to welcome you again and prove you that we are very keen on keeping our standards high.
