First, let me say that the place looks cute. Other than that... it was, perhaps, one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at. Why? The staff! We reserved two rooms several months in advance - one with a queen bed and one with two singles. Upon our arrival, the lady (without a hint of remorse) let's us know that the hotel chose to give the room with the queen bed away... which completely messed up our sleeping arrangements. She could tell they'd screwed up so very sheepishly tells us that they'll comp our party four breakfasts in the morning. 13 euro apiece? ok, sounds good. We request a 7AM awake-up call and a cab pick-up for 8:15AM. She wrote BOTH of these down and said "no problem." At 7:56AM, both rooms get the same wake-up call " You're late! Good morning" Um... WE are late? We have a cab coming in less than 20 minutes and need to shower, get dressed, eat our breakfast, get the rooms cleared out and be downstairs? Really? No apology. No recognition of ANOTHER screw-up. The leader of the group heads directly downstairs to ask that the cab be postponed until 8:45, which the same lady again says "no problem." We all rush downstairs to find an AMAZING breakfast (hint of sarcasm) of boiled eggs and bread. 13 euro? I've been to Europe several times, including Paris, and no other motel on earth would dream of charging that for eggs and bread! At 8:15, our cab shows up... with the meter running. The lady never called the cab company and the driver wouldn't leave and come back. We are running around trying to get out the door and ended up with an extra 12 euro of taxi fare. Our thoughts? She gave a breakfast comp and didn't want to lose the money... so conveniently didn't give the wake-up calls until it was too late to eat. No apologies, no remorse, just a stern faced lady behind the desk, who has the audacity to say "You better hurry! The taxi is here!" NO S$&%! Don't waste your time here. We certainly won't.

Room Tip: Don't stay here.

I liked this hotel a lot- very small, quaint and Parisian. The street has to be one of the best in Paris. The rooms are small but ok. Stairs are bit narrow and brekky bit average but otherwise ok. Can't really fault it but also don't know I'd stay there again, I prob need something but bigger, but for people that like boutique style hotels it's perfect.

I recently stayed at this delightful hotel on the Isle St Louis. Originally booked to travel alone, the hotel arranged an airport transfer for me with Paris Shuttle - 28 euro.
My room was ready on arrival early on my first morning. I was in room 110 on the ground floor. It was small, with a double bed and windows onto a central courtyard. Tastefully decorated it proved a comfortable and convenient base - even when my 20 year old daughter showed up to join me.
The hotel staff were extremely friendly, helpful and informative.
Hotel breakfast at 13 euros per person is available but not really necessary - particularly when you can have coffee and croissant at the local St Regis, standing at the bar for 2 euros.
Free wifi was much appreciated
Local restaurant to try - Le Tastevin, recommended by hotel staff. Other restaurants i recommend in Paris are Au Pied de Cochon, Bofinger, Benoit and La Tour D'Argent.

Room Tip: 110 is on the ground floor.

We knew the rooms would compact as had read reviews, bathroom good although bath a bit small eveng for us at average height. most staff were really helpful. A brilliant location, close to Notre Dame, restaurants, and all transport links. Only 3 star but an amazing base for a short break in Paris. K & S P Newcastle England

Room Tip: Do not have a room next to the lift. Also all rooms do suffer from lack of sound proofing....depend...

This hotel bears the sad distinction of containing the gloomiest, most miserable room in which I have ever spent the night. Unfortunately, I woke up in it on the morning of my 60th birthday so it scarcely helped to lift my now-elderly spirits. My partner who had chosen the hotel for my special weekend treat was very upset by how disappointing his choice had turned out to be.

One is used to Parisian hotel rooms being unusually small but this was so tight that the twin beds took up 90% of the floor space and we had to literally squeeze past each other to get to the bathroom (don't be fooled by the pics on their website where a wide-angle lens has been used.) The windows opened on to a gloomy atrium so it had hardly any natural light at all. The hotel lift was three feet away from the bedroom door and we were disturbed by other guests coming in late at night.

On the plus side, it was spotlessly clean and well-equipped and the ensuite bathroom was a reasonable size ( though unfortunately the bath itself wasn't much longer than a hip bath and anyone over 6 feet tall would have found it unusable.) The reception area was bright and attractive, the staff were unfailingly pleasant and helpful and there was a pretty breakfast room in the converted cellar.

Naturally, what you're really paying for here (and paying quite a lot) is the stylish and unsurpassable location on the main street of the Ile St. Louis with its wonderful shops, restaurants and cafes. It's only two minutes walk to Notre Dame and almost all the central attractions are within reasonable walking distance. So, as a place to rest you head or soak your weary feet after a day's sightseeing, this hotel does the job, but it has no other attractions whatsoever. And oh......that room!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Room Tip: Ask to see more than one option and move to another hotel if you don't like what;s available

As 'gpd of London' reviewer, we also had the quiet room 443, thankfully served by a lift. As with so many Paris hotels it was quite small but had a very good bathroom ensuite. It was clean and perfectly comfortable. Staff were very helpful and greeted us warmly. Hotel's location is superb, I always wanted to stay on one of the Paris islands so booked well in advance. If this hotel is full there is a sister hotel (Letuce) owned by the same people 50 metres along the road.It too looks very welcoming.

My wife and i found this hotel online, and yes it was the perfect location to explore Paris..
A minutes walk to the Metro, in other words its walking distance to all major Landmarks..and trust me the walk is good. Rooms were very clean, considering its a 3 Star hotel. The thing i love the most is that you can get free WiFi, make sure you get the password from the Reception. Rooms are a bit small, but its worth the money..
