We stood in line for this 3 times before finally going in.
Once, we stood in the line for the ministry office instead of the church. My fault.
Second time we got there and waited 10 minutes and they stopped the line at the people in front of us. Bitter
Third time we were there in line for a hour. It was worth it though. The stained glass is amazing. Not what I expected at all. AND it was a cloudy day. Please go early and check it out!

We'd been in Paris for 4 days, seeing beautiful building, after beautiful church, after beautiful statue, after beautiful garden. So when I walked upstairs at Sainte-Chapelle, I was prepared to see one more. What I saw was so beautiful, it almost brought me to tears...and I'm not that type of a person. The sun coming through the stained glass was amazing! If you see one thing in Paris, see this church. However...don't bother going if the sun is not out!!! If it is cloudy, I doubt the room will seem all that special.

Must admit some how missed visiting here on my last few visits to paris without our children
This time with both in tow decided to visit
Had to queue with no idea of building we were about to see as hidden from sight
Visited downstairs and then went upstairs
We were all speechless and in awe of the beautiful windows. Unbelievable
Feel a bit like paraphrasing Dr Johnson(?) " those not impressed here,not impressed anywhere!"

Sainte Chapelle is an exquisite gem that should be at the top of everyone's list of must-see attractions in Paris. Like the Sistine Chaple in Rome, this is one of the most beautiful sights that Paris has to offer.

It is only a few blocks from the Notre Dame Cathedral. Anyone visiting the magnificent beauty of Notre Dame, should also taske time to see the exquisite elegance of Sainte Chapelle. The windows in Notre Dame are certainly impressive when viewed from the dark interior, but Sainte Chapelle is a compltely different experience.

The interior of Sainte Chapelle is tiny and intimate. The stained glass windows rise above you on all sides to implausible heights. When the sun shines, the entire interior of Sainte Chapelle is bathed in the multicolored glow of a jeweled prismatic kaliedoscope. It is breathtaking!

I am amozed that so many tourists miss seeing this spectacular Paris attraction.
