“A very good place to stay in”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 21, 2011

We are a family with 2 kids and we spent a week in a Junior Suite. It was spacy, with a kitchenette and mini-fridge.All the hotel was really clean and the staff were polite. The location is quite central and ideal for visiting Paris. We could find some good restaurants in the area and we enjoyed are stay in this hotel.

I spent a week in this hotel and i really recommend it. You can find comfort and modern amenities (like Wifi, satellite TV, courtesy tray for coffee...). Staff were very polite and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with a variety of fresh food and beverages. Last, location is very central and close to subway (5 minutes walking distance).

Nice hotel in an area of Paris that isn't over-run by tourism, but just a 5 minute walk from the Bastille metro station. Nice cafés and restaurants nearby. Some parts of the neighbourhood still have a lingering atmosphere of Paris in the days when normal people could afford to live and work there.
The hotel is small enough to be friendly (the staff recognise you the next day!) and big enough to have rooms available at short notice.
The bedrooms are Paris-sized (i.e. on the smaller side), but there is space to move around and closets for clothes. Everything was impeccably clean and no signs of wear-and-tear. The bathroom was small but functional, bright and modern.
Our room gave onto what turned out to be a relatively calm street; the double/triple glazing cut out all noise. No noise from the guests, either. The central heating is very efficient: we had to turn it off and open the windows to avoid sleeping in a sauna!
The price included breakfast... but that was the only negative part: the breakfast room is small and people were queueing for vacant seats at 9 am on Saturday morning. However, this gave a subject for breaking the ice with other guests. The staff were a under pressure but coped well. Choice of food is a bit limited (self-service).
The hotel has a shuttle service for the airport: a good deal at €40 for 2 persons. More expensive than the Metro+RER+Orlyval, but much, much less stressing. The receptionist organised everything and the driver picked us up right on time.

We spend several days at this hotel and we were really pleased with the service, the decoration, the amenities (free Wifi in room) and also the breakfast. The location is quite central and you can take the subway to go to the main sites. We recommend it.

We booked a family suite in this hotel and it was really a good deal. The suite is quite large and includes a kitchenette and a courtesy tray (for tea/coffee). Staff were particularly friendly and helpful. Location is central (close to subway) and the area is plesant and safe. We will certainly go back.

I spent the week-end in this hotel and it looks just like what you can see on the pictures : renovated, warm atmosphere and friendly staff. My room was on the top floor on a quiet part and it was extremely clean and well decorated. Free Wifi was more than welcome and the location is perfect for visiting Paris.

We are a family of 2 adults and 2 kids and we booked a Junior Suite in this hotel. It was above our expections : freshly renovated room with free Wifi & courtesy tray (for making coffee). Breakfast was a buffet with a wide variety of fresh food. Also, the location is ideal for sightseeing (close to subway and within walking distance of "Le Marais" area). We will probably go back for our next visit.
