before I went to paris (being very interested in animals) I researched all the zoos in the area, hearing nothing but stories about how inhumane the habitats were I was prepared for the worst; I am happy to say I was was pleasently surprised. With the exception of the big cat, bear, and orangatang exhibits the habitats were spacious and natural enough and with beautiful architecture. It had a very
fine reptile, african monkey, and bird of prey collection, as well as some very rare animals such as prezwalskis horses (extinct in the wild) and anoas (small
buffaloes). It is a conveniently small zoo allowing the visitor to move around it at a lesurely pace, and has a very nice cafe where one can relax. It is also close to the museums of natural history.
I conclusion I would say that it is a very beautiful zoo and I must see for any one with a substantial interest in animals.
