We enjoyed seeing artwork displayed in the museum in the way that the owners of the household would have appreciated it themselves - makes it much easier to take in each piece of art than in a setting such as the Louvre. Entry is slightly above average in cost but comes with an audioguide, so we felt it was reasonable overall. The size of this collection is also quite nice - you feel as though you have time to take in each piece without being rushed, and the Jacquemart's art selections are so nice that it doesn't seem as though you're missing out by not going to a larger museum. Good selection of early renaissance through maybe ~1750s, lots of emphasis on Venetian art but also some Flemish and English portraits, Egyptian art, a couple Botticelli's. The architecture and interior design are beautiful. Very nice.
