This place is so big and there is so much to take in. We were in there for about 5 hours and even though we had a little map, we never did find our way to certain areas. The Louvre is one of the few museums where your cameras are welcome. We found our way to The Mona Lisa, it was very crowded and there is a lot of pushing and shoving going on to get near enough to take a picture. I just had no idea of how much is in there. We really enjoyed the Egyptian Antiquities, just in awe at how old some those things are and how well some of them are preserved. I wish we had gone back another day. Your neck can get sore from looking up at the beautiful ceilings. After getting home I looked up some of the things we saw and some we wished we had seen. I now am sorry we didn't get an audio guide, Outside, in the courtyard, fountain, pyramid area is one of the best people watching spots in Paris! Be sure and plan to spend at the very least 1/2 a day.
