I stayed for Three nights in December on Business my booking was arranged for me.
The hotel is situated on the corner of Champs Elysee and, Georges V directly opposite Louis Vuitton, what a location! The welcome by the doorman was genuine and, friendly they look very smart in their brown velvet jackets and, hats. Before we had a chance to take out our Passports and, credit card we were whisked up to our rooms for checkin which was a nice touch and, informed how to operate all the technical aspects of the room (of which there are many) the lights, the television etc. The hotel Has Butlers which cater to your every whim. The minibar is stocked with water, juice and, soft drinks which are all included, alcohol and, coffee/teas need to be ordered from the butler and are brought fresh to your room.
The room itself was Huge, I believe ours was standard. The Plasma Television is set behind mirrored glass and, the Bed is the biggest I have ever seen. The windows are double glazed and, no noise can be heard from the outside world, its like being in you own little plush cocoon! The Toilet is away from the main room next to the door the lighting in there is a little dark especially with Black Marble, then you have a walkin wardrobe with movement sensor light, your safe, minibar etc.
The Bathroom is a star, Double sinks, Huge plunge bath big enough to fit Two with a televison mounted into the wall and, a waterproof remote control. This TV operates independantly from the other which is nice if your not alone. The Shower head is HUGE and, there is a marble bench if your too lazy to stand underneath it you can just sit and, slowly wake up or fall alseep again in the shower.
Breakfast is a fine dining affair, which is not good if you are in a hurry. The restaurant is Plush much like the rest of the hotel.
The Butler staff are very good and, seem to know and, cater to your needs. Although I found some difficulty with using the internet which is Cable activated form your room the roaming wireless thereafter throughout the hotel. Mine did not work correctly until the day before I left despite the butler visiting a number of times, but as the hotel is new I was told they were having some teething problems with the router.
So If you want to be pamper and, can afford 600+ Euro per night then stay at Fouquet's its New and, Modern with an emphasis on personal service. Oh and, You'll love the Slippers, His and, Hers!
