“Not to miss”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 19, 2012

One of the great artists of all times. A wonderful spot. A perfect sunny day. And you will enter a different world. Nothing will be quite the same again. A tour for a whole afternoom. And, extra super, many sculptures by rodin's most famous pupil, Camille Claudel.

“Unmissable for Rodin fans”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 19, 2012

It was about 25 years since my last visit, and the Museum just gets better and better! We visited on a lovely Autumn day, so seeing the large sculpture of the Thinker standing out against a cobalt sky, with the golden dome of Les Invalides just behind it was amazing! The gardens are lovely, so well kept, and full of statues... you just want to live there yourself and go for romantic walks up and down the avenues! The inside of the Hotel (main part of the museum) has fascinating displays with several plaster casts of famous sculptures, showing how Rodin's ideas developed, up to the final product.
I have been a Rodin fan since I was a child, and he still grows on me! Interesting to see some works by his mistress, too, clearly inspired by him. Great shop at the end for buying souvenirs or little presents!

“Beautiful gardens”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2012

I loved the quiet gardens with sculpture tucked in the corners and the dome of Napoleon's tomb and the Eiffel Tower visible in the background. The interior exhibits were cluttered and it was overly warm.

“Not To Be Missed”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2012

To see many of Rodin's masterpieces assembled in one magnificent home is not to be missed. Take the audio tour and stroll in the gardens - and throughout the home. Again, as always, get that Museum Pass.
