“Brilliant Laugh”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 9, 2014

My wife and I went to see How to become a Parisian in one hour in July and thoroughly enjoyed the show. It was a very funny and entertaining performance and we would recommend to anyone in the city looking for a fun night out.

“Open Tour Bus”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2014

Take one of the open tour buses - has recorded guide in several different languages. If you have a limited time to see as many sights as possible - this is the way to go. Gives a person a total overview of many of the sights to see - with the option of getting on and off and all of the stops. Great way to get around the city and take in most of the popular tourist attractions. Best view is from the top of the bus - as long as it is not raining

“Great show”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2014

Very good show - would recommend this highly to Parisian novices like ourselves. Booked online before we came, the theatre is very easy to get to by Metro. Overall I would recommend Olivier to anybody :-) Many different nationalities at the show, including many French people which was a surprise as the show is all in ENGLISH,,,,, a testament I think to his unique show

“Funny”

Very funny ,show. Highly recommend . One tip when you come out of the exit ,you exit left ,walk the alley (with every one else) turn left up the street to the entrance you came in . Metro is to the right on same side.

“Hilarious!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2014

This show seemed like the perfect outing for two friends who both love Paris. Why not learn to become Parisian?

It was a great decision. This show is in a small, intimate theater and is laugh out loud funny. The comedian is Olivier Giraud and he makes fun of a lot of different nationalities; though it seems to be mostly Americans, English, French, and Parisians (as separate from all other French people). There are lots of Parisians in the audience, so it's not just for tourists.

He is a keen observer of behavior and isn't afraid to poke fun. Which means there is the potential to offend or cause a bit of cringing. But as long as you realize it's all in the spirit of fun and appreciation of the differences, you'll forgive yourself for laughing when you think you shouldn't have.

Olivier is also not afraid to move--his face or his body. His expressions are priceless and for some of the physical comedy bits you wonder how anyone could make those moves on a stage in front of other people. Oh, by the way, definitely not for children!

One of the funniest parts of the whole show? In the days following, witnessing Parisians behaving as he said they would.

Fabulous show. I'd see it again.
