“Recommend any time”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

This hotel was perfect. Affordable and yet very decent. The rooms were clean, comfortable and secure, and the staff were incredibly lovely to us. The girl at reception even went to the trouble of printing out a google map on which to mark our destination for the night (my friend and I are of the bumbling tourist type so common in Paris). Although the hotel is not right in the centre of the city, the extremely efficient metro station is very nearby and even though the street the hotel is on doesn't look like the nicest of areas, we had no trouble and I never felt unsafe.

There is a pizza shop immediately opposite the hotel which I can guarantee you does an amazing Hawaiian pizza, just in case you're too tired to go and find a restaurant! The boys in there only speak French so arm yourself with a few phrases (we just pointed at the menu until we reached an understanding). The breakfast is €12 and the selection isn't enormous (cheese, ham, cereal, fruit, yoghurt) but it's plentiful and filling. The price of accommodation was the biggest draw for us - in fact we didn't expect somewhere so cheap to be such good quality!

All in all, would recommend to anyone who doesn't mind not being right on the doorsteps of the Eiffel Tower.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 7, 2012 via mobile

Stayed here for 2 nights. Arrived in our twin room but we had suh big packs there wasn't muh room so we rung and asked if they had any bigger rooms and they upgraded us for free to a room with heaps more room

We didn't have the breakfast so can't comment but it was €12.

Very modern rooms with amazingly comfortable beds couldn't fault the rooms at all.

Location isn't fantastic. Is about a 20-30 minute walk to Sacre Ceur. To get to the main attractions you need to change at a few different lines.

Overall awesome hotel

We stayed there for 2 nights in Septmber. Overall our experience was good, neighborhood was ok. Nearest parking was couple blocks away. Very nice clean rooms, mini-fridge and safe are definitely a plus, free internet, accommodating hotel staff. Would stay there again.

The hotel was pretty nice, although the room was a little small. The staff was very helpful. I would stay there again. Pretty safe and not a bad part of town.

The art hotel is a very recommendable hotel with clean rooms and obliging service. The location is quite good : the next metrostation is only 200 meters away from the hotel and you are quick in the inner city. Nonetheless its quiete in the night.
The breakfast location is lovely and the breakfast itself is yummy!
All together a really nice hotel, if you want to feel good for some days without busting.

I stay in the Art Hotel on my first trip to Paris in July and loved it. The rooms and showers were small but you're in Paris, enjoy the city. The hotel is a distance from most attractions but it is a short walk to three subway stations. We also had amazing service the entire time we were there. Deanne ( I hope thats spelled right) was amazing and gave us great tips on things to do and see and places to eat. Her English wasn't the best but she always tried her hardest and we really appreciated that. I would recommend everybody stay here especially budget travelers or people who aren't afraid to walk. I feel like I experienced more and saw more of the city because I stayed in Art Hotel Congres.
