Space between tables is extremely narrow, but food was great as ever! Going here every time we are jn Paris is getting a habit!

“Nee doe maar niet”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 2, 2014 via mobile

Middelmatige Thai ondanks Michelin de guide vermeldingen dat says so also nothing, sorry. The waiter gave us small table near the door, very windy. We liked the beef salad Yam Neua, good lemongrass tasty. Chicken green curry was not nice the chicken was overcooked, it tasted powdery. The masaman my boyfriend had it was ok. We did not have dessert, sorry. Next time we will try another Thai in Paris.

“Awesome hidden gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 17, 2014

If you ever hit Le Marais quarter and love Thai food, don't miss the stop! It's small, it's cramped, it's fully packed at lunch, but the food and the service are great!

“A microcosm of its native country”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 5, 2014

Total confusion, ear-splitting noise, and tables so crowded that you have to time your inspiration and exhalation according to the breathing of adjacent diners. I phoned from Canada to make a reservation that was cordially accepted, and phones again 3 weeks later on arrival in Paris to be told that no such booking was on their list. I persevered and was granted a Saturday-night tiny plastic table with a paper serviette. Things looked up with a complimentary dish of vegetable tartlets. My mango seafood salad starter was tasty and generous, but my wife's shrimp lemon-grass soup was poor and difficult to drink: we have had this at dozens of Thai restaurants all over the world, but never with half the plate full of large fibrous chunks of lemon grass that had to be spat out with each spoonful. We noticed others with the same dish having to do likewise. My main course was from the Michelin Menu at 38 euros ----- 3 Tiger Prawns in a decent yellow curry with a pile of noodles, while my wife's "Cod Three Ways" from the cheaper menu was very well done, especially the Tempura component. But we both selected as side dish the Crispy Fried Vegetables that were neither crispy or fried, but were essentially raw and heated in a microwave ----utterly tasteless. I went on to have a dessert of gorgeous ripe mangos with sticky rice, but the latter was barely sufficient to cover a dessert spoon. We cannot complain of the service. They are a victim of the idiocy and mendacity of many writers and critics who clearly know nothing about Thai food, and are probably plagiarizing each others' write-ups. The Guide Michelin in particular should be prosecuted for misrepresentation that gives Bibendum status to a meal that costs 1 Euro less than lunch at Helene Darroze, and double the price of dozens of neighbourhood Toronto restaurants whose cuisine reaches a higher standard

“Bad service”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 27, 2014

We had reserved a table for friday evening at 8pm. We came sharp 8:05 to the restaurant that was already full.
The waitress ask us to stay in the corner for 20min as no table were available for us, she was not really nice. We place our order, we were served quite quickly but as soon as we finished our starters the main came.. no time for breathing or conversation.. same thing as soon as our main were finished we have been asked if we wanted a dessert, which we didn't really fancy being push in such a hurry. They brought us the bill straight away.
As we kept talking and ignore the bill the waitress came to ask us to pay the bill to free up the table for the 3rd service.
Honestly i was pretty shock, this place is worst than a cantine but with much more higher price.
I think they should rethink their policy, as being less pushy we would have taken a dessert..
