“Brunch at the Paris Aquarium”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed February 24, 2013

Very low standard and very limited selection: On very simple salad, some dry bread with cheese, a "bento-box" that took ages to arrive and contained scrambeled eggs and industrial sausages, all cold. Some dry pain au chocolat and not-so-bad apple tart, tea and coffey. Was it worth the 19:99 € ?? Hardly!

However, given the location inside the aquarium (with possibility to go back in and look around once again after having eatin) and the relative calm compared to the "Rain forest self" next door, it could still be a good (only) resort for a tired family.

CineAqua : Get your act together, get some more exiting - and better tasting - (fish?)dishes on the buffet table, scrap the crap "bento box" and you could have a winning concept!

“Go for the shark tank”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 11, 2013

The "pirates" live show is exciting for kids up to probably age 6 or 7.

Sit back and relax and watch a couple dozen sharks swim above you.

“Expensive and not much to see.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

The best part of the aquarium was that it was a quiet retreat after the Eiffel Tower. They have one large tank with sharks and fish of all sorts which is impressive, but that's it. My favorite part was that the bathrooms were clean and the kids (8 & 6) needed a little break!

“Good aquarium, far too expensive”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 2, 2012

Whilst CineAqua id a good aquarium with a reasonable collection it does not warrant the €20.00 entry fee per adult. Kids under 3 are free so this eased the pain a little bit.
There is nowhere to store pushchairs so there is no room to move on a busy day.
We also found that the queue to buy tickets was completely disorganised as well.
I would say go and have a look, but make sure you are aware of the costs beforehand, if all else the Eiffel Tower is just outside, or a river boat trip.....

“Waste of money!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2012 via mobile

I went to this aquarium today thinking it was part of the Paris Pass, it was not, I decided to buy a ticket anyway, €19 later and drenched in sweat after waiting in the line for 20 minutes with no A/C we proceeded through to see the fish. I made the mistake of visiting on a Sunday, every school child in France was there! I hardly got a look at a single tank for the most part. There was a huge amount of really rude obnoxious children and their mothers and the whole place was a sweat box, it was only 23° today. I got really frustrated at people using the flash on their cameras, there were no staff to police this, actually there were no staff full stop. The tanks were all really small and consequently all the fishes were really undersized. The shark tank was small and there was seats to sit and observe but they were all taken. I thought this would take 2-3 hours, I got through in 40 minutes. I am really really disappointed. There was also a massive lack of signage, no descriptions of what you are even looking at. This does not measure up at all to Australia's Melbourne aquarium in the slightest, save your money!
