“Disappointing”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2013 via mobile

We wish we had read the reviews! We were in the Latin Quarter and everything seemed so similar. We chose this one because it looked cute, had a promising menu and reasonable prices. The food was mediocre at best, the service basic but good prices if you are looking for a cheaper eat. Otherwise skip it.

“Fawlty Towers in the Latin Quarter”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 29, 2013 via mobile

Best entertainment in our whole week in Paris. Our waiter resembled Basil Fawlty constantly in a flap probably because they were understaffed in the restaurant. People continually walked out without being served and he seemed to be constantly outside smoking! In spite of this our food was Ok, and we were kept entertained the whole evening! If u want great food and service probably not the place to go to, but we didn't leave hungry and it wasn't expensive. The deserts were probably the best part of the meal and our wine was ok too.

“Avoid, like the plague”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed June 13, 2013

We really wish we had read the reviews of this place first, but we were very hungry and found ourselves in the Latin quarter and struggling to find some place appealing in this obvious tourist-trap area. We are just back from eating here, and from reading other reviews, there appears to be some dissatisfaction with service. Our experience, the waiters were quite prompt and friendly. However, the food was the worst I've had in a long time. I was almost embarrassed sitting in this restaurant it was that bad. Yes, the onion soup was ok (lots of bread in it, so not much liquid), but my husband describes his burger as rubbish and my steak with pepper sauce wasn't even a steak or cooked properly (over done not medium). Yes, what do you expect for a €10 three-course meal? Basically, anyone over the age of 30 shouldn't been seen here, people with more taste and a little bit more money should find a more pleasant meal elsewhere.

“Looks a promising Bistro from the outside but.....”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 25, 2013

..don't be fooled the quality of the food doesn't live up to the first impressions. To be fair this restaurant is right in the heart of the Latin Quarters tourist area and the surrounding restaurants looked to have very similar offerings and I suspect the quality was very similar.

The service was ok but in a country which makes much of its reputation for good food this place fell way short. If you are looking for anything other than people watching the this isn't the place for you.

“excellent!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 21, 2013

This was fantastic value for money, child friendly and great food... they serve Belgian beer, a great onion soup and the lamb shank was amazing..

The atmosphere was really authentic and the waiter was quite cheerful..even joked a bit! If you want a taste of France at good price, come here.. I will definitely come back here again..
