“Cutest little hotel ever!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 weeks ago

We'd read some not-so-impressed reviews before booking, but as it was one of the cheapest rooms in Paris that we could find online, we decided to go with it anyway. As we were visiting Paris as part of a cruise, we only had about 26 hours total in Paris and wanted to make the most of it. The hotel was right across from the Saint Denise metro station, which made getting around the city a breeze. It was a really small hotel....it seemed like maybe 5 or so rooms on each floor, but our room had everything we needed, and was decorated and wallpapered to look super chic. The lift took FOREVERRRRRRRRRRR so we ended up taking the cute little spiral staircase to our third floor room most of the time, but a little exercise never killed anyone. They also have a Turkish bath that was complimentary with an hours notice but we didn't have time to check it out. The only thing that wasn't perfect about this hotel was that we didn't realize the breakfast wasn't included with our room. There was a little breakfast nook on the main floor with croissants, cereals, scrambled eggs, sausages, etc. and it was fine.....we each ate a little just to get something in our bellies before we hit the town. When we went to check out the lady mentioned breakfast and charged us each....I think like 14 euros....whatever it was, it ended up being $41 CAD on my visa statement when I got home! My advice, totally stay at this hotel, but skip the breakfast and go eat somewhere else.....there wasn't enough food at the entire breakfast bar if we'd eaten all of it and left none behind, to be worth $41!!

I stayed at the hotel for a few days with my boyfriend and had an enjoyable stay. Very unassuming outside but very cool and theatrical inside. There is a lift which is always a plus in Paris. I've stayed in Paris many times and our room was huge! Not sure why people complain about the room sizes. Very clean and cool room, loved the decor. Lovely shower and a very comfortable big bed. A fridge in the room was great too. My only complaint is the hotel bar. It's very confusing how it works - it says it's an honesty bar and you're to take what you want and write it down which we started to do but then the night receptionist appeared and gabbled something quite aggressively and then disappeared off. We weren't sure if he was telling us not to use it or not but we felt very uncomfortable and left without a drink. Most of the staff are a bit abrupt we found. I think they just need to make the bar system it clearer, or employ a barman, as the bar area is very nice. It was always empty which is probably because the system doesn't work and the staff don't explain! My boyfriend felt this incident spoilt his stay and wouldn't stay there again. The location was great, lots of cool bars and restaurants near by and you can walk to many sights. It would've been 4 out of 5 hadn't it been for the bar incident.

Coming to a warm welcome one feels immediately at home in this cosy little hotel in the Sentier area of Paris. Close to the Republic and Bastille, u have restaurants and movie theatres close by. The lovely staff is very sticking in the black and white pants suit with red bow tie and braces. The rooms are a good size for paris and everything is available.I fully recommend this lovely sweet hotel.

Room Tip: ask for a room with a balcony - the view over the rooftops of paris are amazing!

Stayed for three nights. Stylish hotel in line with published photos. Really good features are the superb breakfast room / bar and very good breakfast offering. Also up there as very good is the hammam available for guest use. Staff are friendly and helpful. Hotel is well located with lots of highlights of Paris close by and metro line within 100 yds. My one disappointment was the size of the room - far too small to be comfortable with a separate toilet and shower shoe-horned in. So close to being a great find but for more than a one night stay I would stay elsewhere.

Hello Mr. Paul T,
Thank you for taking the time to write a review regarding your recent stay in our Hotel Les Théâtres. We are great to know that you enjoyed the new decoration, breakfast, the hammam and our staff.
Unfortunately, Paris is known for its small room’s size. But please note that we have much larger rooms up to 23sqm.
Feel free to contact us directly for your next visit and we will pleased to provide you a bigger room.
Best Regards,
Marcella L

Spent 3 nights here. The hotel has a very peculiar decor, it's small, yet very charming. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. It is close to the metro, the Opera house, and the Bourse. Highly recommended.

We stayed for a weekend at Les Theatres, and we had a marvelous time. We booked with Travelbird, which made the price very nice, and the booking was impeccable. The room was nice, quiet and very clean. The breakfast buffet was superb : a range of fresh products, very friendly staff and a beautiful location. Central location, within waling distance of the centre of Paris. All in all a place I would like to recommend.

This hotel is located downtown Paris, close to all main attractions as Sacre Couer, Louvren, Notre Dame, Eiffel tower and River Seine. The Price is really good even though the romos are a Little small, but this is normal in Paris.
