I don't think I can summarise my experience of this hotel better than in the title - it is a friendly and fairly priced hotel for Paris standards, and is reasonably located (we walked everywhere). There is a mix of people in he area ("working women" left and right, though it didn't bother us) and the rooms are quite small, ours didn't even have a door to separate the bathroom from the sleeping area. On the plus side, the staff was very friendly, the hotel gives access to a reduced-price parking (contrary to other hotels we've visited), there was free wifi and our room had a small private terrace. We didnt stay for breakfast since we wanted to enjoy Paris. Good choice for a short stay.

We only stayed overnight at this hotel but thought it was really nice, they were pretty strict on check in and the room wasn't available until 2pm, however we got upgraded ( not sure why but wasn't going to complain as it was our wedding anniversary) the room was lovely was the only one on the landing had separate lavatory to the bathroom, large double room and the shower was lovely. We didn't have breakfast there as it wasn't included and would have cost another 14€ each.

The hotel is 3 stops on line 4 from the Gare du Nord which brings you into Strasbourg saint Dennis, the hotel is about a 5/10 minute walk from there. If on the way back you're tempted to go for something to eat at a grill restaurant called hippopotamus, please don't, the reviews on TA including mine speak for themselves you'll get better service from the corn on the cob man that lingers by the station. If you go via euro star you get loads of random discounts including 50% off at a lovely restaurant called Aux Bons Cruz. The food, ambiance and hospitality of this quaint bistro is so well worth it for starters, main course, drinks and the discount came to about 50€ can highly recommend the fois gras, fetta and fill starter and the veal and ribeye for main yum yum - im going to put the full review of this bistro on after this.

Would highly recommend this hotel and using the public transport around it, we also went to the louvre which was about a 10minute walk away - lots of really decent places to eat around by the louvre although as you can imagine are much more pricey about 20€-35€ for a main course each

We found our room to be very compact but good use was made of limited space and it was comfortable for a short break of 4 nights The staff were very welcoming and cheerful and the hotel was smartly decorated and equipped.
The location does not encourage you to visit local bars etc but the hotel is close to Metro stations giving good access to the facilities/sights which Paris has to offer.

Rooms renovated, but location terrible. Front desk attendants and management leave much to be desired as far as guest service is concerned. Best advise: stay away from this hotel.
