“Great food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 7, 2013

We went to the one on Avenue de l'Opera and had quiche and cafe moka. The cafe moka was pretty sweet but good since it had whipped cream, and the quiche was the best I've had so far, and they heat it up for you. The croissant was not was great though. Service was good and waiters were friendly. I would come to this place again.

“Paul's Pastries to Go”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2013 via mobile

Down the street from where we stayed was a Paul's. we stopped in for a baguette and strawberry tortes and became hooked. Later we learned There were many locations of Paul's scattered around Paris even one located in the major airports.
The people were friendly, even when we couldn't pronounce the names of some of the tempting treats.
We learned that many of the favorite treats sell out early in the day, so if you find a favorite, like the strawberry tortes, you need to stop and get them early. Paul's also sell some sandwiches.

“Not bad for a quick stop if no other options available”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2012

I had threes title pastries and an Americano coffee. The mini pastries give you an opportunity to try more varieties if you are not sure of what to order. The chocolate pains are ok, croissant are average, but raising rolls are very good. The are .70eur/piece so a relatively cheap snack. We had them inside the Louvre museum and it was worth it.

“Best place for breakfast”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 28, 2012

I guess it all depends on the waiter you have....
We were a party of 7 hungry Italians when we got there the first day for breakfast. The waitress we had was not the best ever. We had to ask twice for her attention to order and after the 4th time askin for the bill, we got up and asked to pay directly at the cashier. Total 39 euros.
Second day there, we had an Italian waiter. He patiently accommodated every single of our requests. Total spent: 60 euro....
Overall, the tea, grand cafe and chocolat chaud were very appreciated. The vienoiseries were excellent. Some of us had the fromage blanc with berries and loved it. You can get your choice of bread with butter and jam. It definitely beats any of the expensive Parisian coffee shops that are in the area and Starbucks for the quality and variety of food.

“Delight in the Louvre”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 20, 2012

This little cafe is in the Louvre museum. We had a chicken sandwich on long bread with poppy seeds. It had some type of horseradish sauce on it. It was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. What a delightful surprise! We stood in line and ordered our food. Then we found a table nearby. There were many desserts there, too. We didn't try them. I'm sure they were delicious. This was quality food. The people working behind the counter were very nice.
