“Awesome place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 6, 2013 via mobile

Great food, great atmosphere, but most of all amazingly friendly staff. Highly recommend this place. The beef three ways is their speciality entree. The chocolate mousee and creme brulee are to die for.

“Really good classical french restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 1, 2013

We went to this restaurant in search of a warm, hearty and classical french meal. We got everthing and more.

First the decor - when you walk in it feels right. Seating probably around 25 people at a stretch it is adorned with photos of actors. There are menus on the walls - specialising in meat, steak etc.

I had snails, my wife had the most amazing foie gras soup. Incredible. We followed the advice of the incredibly good humoured and accommodating staff for wine and food and were not disappointed!

We had to nip back for the Eurostar - otherwise I probably could have stayed all day. A truly wonderful place to eat, drink and enjoy conversation...

Brilliant.

“Friendly staff, standard food at a reasonable price.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 18, 2013

The ambience and staff are great in this little restaurant near Opera and Boulevard d'Italiens. The food is good value for the price, and very traditional - great if that's what you're after, not the place if you're after imaginative modern French food.
