“Nice small restaurant and the owner is charming”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 7, 2012

We had early dinner at this restaurant. Luckily there weren't a lot of people when we eat, because they have too much tables in restaurant that it seems impossible to have any privacy when there more people.

The food was tasty but average and if you are looking for vegetarian food (like my wife), this is not the place for you. The antipasti were the best part of the meal.

It's good restaurants if you want to eat simple Italian food or if you are with children. It isn't recommended for business or romantic dinner.

“Decent food, nice folks”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2011

This is a small Italian restaurant. The food was decent, the wine good. It had daily food and wine specials, as well as a regular menu. It was a nice place to sit and relax for dinner after a long day of walking. It was right across the street from our hotel, which is what we needed!

“The best anti pasti ever”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 9, 2011

Nestled in a small Parisian street near the Grands Boulevards Métro Station, discover a real Italian in Paris. The restaurant itself lacks of any sort of cachet: it is small and decorated with pcitures of actors, the seating is not the most comfortable ever, the table cloth is made of several napkins but the food is simply delicious. The owner, a lady, will regularly check on you to ensure everything is all right, like an Italian mama is supposed to do. It gives a great family and convivial atmosphere. Recommendation: order the mix of anti pasti as starter!

“Outstanding Restaurant - Great Little Find”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 8, 2011

Hard to believe that some of the best Italian food we have ever had we enjoyed in Paris. This quaint, little restaurant is a real find. The staff is personable, the food excellent and the atmosphere what one wants in a small Parisian restaurant. It is romantic, charming and fun. This is our best memory if Paris!

“Absolute Favorite Restaurant in Paris!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2011

Amazing, authentic food, wonderful music, ambiance and charm, all in a cozy, intimate, charming restaurant! The proprietor, Eric, is warm and inviting and every stage of the meal was a delight. When expecting a small antipasto, a exploding plate of 6 varieties of savory samples is placed in front of you. The carafe of merlot, once given to breath, was a lovely accompaniment to the fair. Then the entree of pasta and scapolini was amazing, with each bite providing a depth of richness and delicate touches that is usually only tasted in home cooked food. A final tarimisu and complimentary lemonchello really put the final touches on the best meal we have had in our 4 weeks in Paris. It is almost too good to be telling others about, since we will want to return during any time we have in Paris and want to always find a quiet table to enjoy the wonderful ambiance, delectable food and overall great service.
