Paris is such a big city providing all spectrum of lives - sightseeing and living with great historical heritage, art and music, theaters and entertainment and of course shopping. Sometimes people say it "From Paris with Love". Paris is certainly the most interesting and exciting city in Europe apart from London and a city that you can never be bored with. Depending on one's inclination and what to look for, a choice for a hotel has to take into consideration our own inquisitiveness.
With this in mind and the fact that hotel accommodation in Paris could be one of the most expensive in the world, we settle for Radisson Blu Le Metropolitan Hotel, Paris Eiffel. The name itself suggests it is not far from the iconic Eiffel Tower. It is a boutique hotel though and located quite near from the happenings in Paris. There are excellent restaurants nearby and shops along the street including bakeries and sundry shops plus self service laundry nearby.
Breakfast is nice with good ambiance but it may be a bit expensive for some. In that case there are fantastic bakeries for breakfast not far off from the hotel which we frequented every morning after the first breakfast at the hotel. If you are lucky you may get a room overlooking the the Eiffel Tower, it would then be a fantastic feeling as if, when you the Eiffel Tower then you see Paris. But if you do not get the room with the view, it does not really matter as you could get down to the lobby and view the Eiffel Tower from there.
Radisson Blu Le Metropolitan Hotel has got a good reception team who could assist you and they are not difficult to converse in English as in France normally they do not speak English even though they can speak English. The rooms however are quite small and enough to squeeze your luggage in but then, most hotel rooms in Paris and in Europe are similar unless you are willing to put at the 5 star hotels.
On the whole it was an excellent experience and we look forward to our next trip to Paris and stay at Radisson Blu Metropolitan Hotel. To enjoy the trip, we have to accommodate a bit of unpleasantness as part of live and with that attitude, we think the stay at Radisson Blu Le Metropolitan Hotel Paris should be enjoyable.
