I went with a friend who lives close by and we spent a lovely, unhassled evening at the 'Honest'. It was a busy Friday with people of all nationalities on their way back from work dropping in for a drink (with crudites) and then the clientele changed to people out for an evening meal. We both had salads, one with goat's cheese wrapped around proscuttio and cooked and the other with melon, buffalo mozzarella, etc - they were beautifully presented and fresh. All this was washed down with a carafe of Sancerre - very pleasant indeed. It is great to find somewhere in Paris which is not stupidly priced, great atmosphere, friendly staff and good food - no wonder it has become my friends 'local'. We would have returned on Sunday had they been open. Just have to save for the next trip to Paris now . . .
