I picked this place based on it's proximity to my apartment in Paris, and the mostly positive reviews on TA. I arrived at 7:15PM on Monday and was seated immediately. The menu was clear and quite varied. I started with a Kir Champagne to clear the palette. The service was perfect and friendly. I speak only limited French and the waiter spoke no English, but it was no problem at all. I ordered everything up front (except the dessert and cafe) and it was brought in perfect order.
Quick bar food appetizer to start (I like it when you get something IMMEDIATELY--bread, snack whatever). Within a few minutes, I had the miso soup and salad along with the kir/Champagne. Once I finished the soup and salad, I polished off the drink. Next came the sushi platter, which was very good (not amazing, but VERY good--FRESH!) along with an inexpensive, but perfect warm saki. I requested more wasabi and it was there in an instant.
Once I finished I was presented a dessert menu, which I was thinking I'd decline. However, there were so many choices. I decided on vanilla ice cream tart (just ice cream in the shape of a tart) with pistachio and almonds on top. It was simple, but PERFECT. Followed up with an esspresso, "L'addiction, s'il vous plaît", and I was GONE. Back home in bed by 9PM. Damage: 34 EUR.
I recommend Kiccho. It's a good deal. Maybe I went a little overboard on the "Excellent" rating, but the sake has put me in a generous mood.
