“Enjoyable light lunch, ...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 8, 2012

I was visiting Musee du quai Branly on my own and was a bit stuck for somewhere to eat so decided to try their café.

I had a cesar salad which tasted freshly made, with plenty of parmesan. A small glass of rose also went down well. The service was ok mainly because the waitress kept speaking to me in French, despite it being obvious I was English and didn’t speak much French (and what I do speak is pretty bad!).

On the basis of the lunch, I’d quite happily go back here again ... and the Museum is a treasure trove of wonderous things!

“Tranquility in the middle of chaos!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 20, 2012

What an amazing find! This cafe is right beside the Musée des Arts Premier. We sat on the patio and had a great view of the gardens and of the Eiffel tower. The food was good, service was quick. They do close early so it is best to visit before 3:30 to ensure enough time to eat. It was extremely quiet in the garden, a nice break from the hustle and bustle around the tower and the Seine. We had to find someone when we wanted to leave, we had our bill but no one came by to take our payment. Besides that, everything went well, we will definitely be back!

“watch out watch time of the day you head here”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed February 22, 2012

We visited the Musee de Quai Branley and decided to stop over at the Cafe Branly for a dinner or late snack to find out that it closes by 6p.m food (lunch is not served after a certain time). Even though we got there by 5p.m., the waitress said they were not longer serving, so make sure you check out your hours and their hours not to disappoint yourselves. Lots of pizza choices here.

“A trap for tourists... Never again on this cafe”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2011 via mobile

Extremely noisy, poor service. While some tables were available, we were directed to a table nearby the entrance, where some appliance of the decoration made a sort of uncomfortable and dirty chair. For a tea and cake, the place was ok, but the service was not at all what can be expected from the museum cafe

“Excellent service - fair value/price”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 23, 2011

As soon as you pass the glass "wall" at the Quai Branly Museum you enter a different world, much quieter and greener than outside.
With 17 persons we booked a lunch menu beforehand. We got nice places, good food and a service "très sympa".
We will return !
