As a Korean American from Los Angeles, I am definitely used to some very good Korean food (many Korean nationals say that the Korean food in LA is better than in Korea). I think this restaurant is comparable to a good restaurant in Los Angeles. And judging by the number of Koreans dining there that night, it must be a good place for good Korean food.
We ordered bulgogi beef, a korean savory pancake called pajun, daengang chigae (tofu casserole), and a fish. We ordered two bottles of Korean chamisul rice wine. The total was under 120 Euros for 4 people. Compare this to our average Parisian dinner bill of over 150 Euro and it was relatively cheaper. All the dishes were well done. The beef was plentiful and quite lean, and the marinade was quite good. The sides were were also excellent. The service was very attentive and kind. We left very happy.
A number of days before, we also went to another Korean restaurant in Paris at the suggestion of our Korean guide. (I suspect they have an arrangement with the mediocre Korean restaurants.) That other place was awful. If you go Korean, I suggest this little gem. The place is in a very nice little street as well. Very cute, we thought.
