“Great Food & Drink!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 10, 2013

We happened along this pub on our way to the Italian district in Paris. They had one table outside and more under a canopy. We sat outside and we ordered the bucket of Corona 5 for 20 Euros! Well that was a great price for Paris! Then we saw wings going by us to other tables and we asked the waitress and she said it was wing night .50 a wing!! What??!! Crazy...they were amazing!!! We loved them!! We had such a great time...all the Canadian hockey jersey's on the wall, etc. So Monday night is wing night at the Great Canadian and it sure lived up to it's name!!

“Great little neighbourhood pub”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 26, 2013

I've been to The Great Canadian 3 times now - my first visit was over Thanksgiving and they did put on a nice spread. On my most recent trip, I stopped in for lunch. It's in a great spot close to St Germain and the Ile de la Cite - walking distance to Sainte Chapelle and Notre Dame. It was nice to sit in a quiet pub, drink a beer, watch some sports, and get away from the crowds and heavy French food. The TGC was not busy at lunch - but I have seen it busier in the evenings.

I am disappointed that there is only hockey memorabilia and I think I saw one rugby jersey. What happened to the Roughriders flag?!?

“Great pub for Australian visitors”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2013 via mobile

After a three hour walking tour we stopped here for a pint or two, and ended up having a meal. Lovely Irish girl gave us really good service and of course we had a chat! Went back to watch some of the Lions Vs Wallabies...... And we lost!

Tried some chips with gravy and cheese which were good.

“Don'y bother”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed June 21, 2013

Tried to get service tonight. Hardly anyone in the place, waited 20 minutes without any acknowledgement, so we left for a wonderful dinner down the street. I guess they didn't need the 200 euros we spent at the other restaurant.Oh well, plenty of choices in the area so don't waste your time at this one.
