The wife and I throughly enjoyed our visit here. We wanted to try various dishes, so we ordered five plats, plus a delicious bottle of Sancerre.
The first plat was a calamari and sausage kabob -- sounds like an odd mix, but it was terrific.
The second plat was fresh foie gras with a strawberry compote -- amazingly delicious.
The third plat was a beef kabob with red peppers. It was tasty, but too chewy for us (we love dry-aged beef that falls apart).
The fourth plat was white asparagus in a delicious sauce to die for.
The fifth plat was mussles with an intense, incredible sauce that we dipped our bread in, fighting for the last dip.
This was served with a side dish of very tasty grilled vegetables, including fennel bulb.
We topped it off with tiramisu that was heavenly, yet light.
The waiter was always there, but never there, if you know what I mean. What a fun and absolutely delicious meal.
