Whilst touring Reims on a guided tour "free" time for lunch meant looking for a spot - especially on a Sunday. The first place - a hotel was not opening until midday - it was 11.45am so we trotted off across the other side of the Cathedral and spotted Des Lys Cafe despite all the paving works being undertaken. The hosts made us feel welcome and we thoroughly enjoyed our fare with tea/coffee and a glass of Chardy. Certainly a gem amongst everything else.
